Hi Ngan, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I graduated from optometry school in 2013 and began my career working for a private practice. After that, I ran my own practice in a retail setting before spending two years in a corporate office, where I gained valuable experience in the business side of the eyecare industry. I opened the Round Rock office in December 2018 and expanded with the Hutto location in April 2025.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It was definitely challenging. Starting a new business is scary, and there were so many uncertainties. On top of that, the Round Rock location was hit with COVID in 2020, which set us back a few years. But each challenge came with valuable lessons that helped us grow stronger.
