Today we’d like to introduce you to Tianna Roser.
Tianna, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I wasn’t really passionate about anything growing up, so I got my degree in Marketing and International Business. I figured the world would always need business people. I did all the right things: made good grades and got an internship that led to a marketing job. I reached my goal, but I felt extremely disappointed and disillusioned in the corporate world. It felt empty, fake and soulless. What was the point? Work long hours in an unhealthy environment to make the company a ton of money and earn a more impressive job title so I can accumulate nicer stuff? I began to question the meaning of life. I started meditating, which was really challenging initially. One day it clicked. Suddenly, all I wanted to do was meditate. So, I meditated every day for three to four hours. In those few hours, a whole new world opened up. I felt energy moving in my body. I spontaneously revisited past lives, I somehow slipped out of body and found myself floating over it or I’d be whizzing through the Cosmos. It was a complete paradigm shift. I finally felt the passion I’d been yearning for. I had an unquenchable thirst to explore this inner world. I wanted to understand the energy I felt, so I learned Reiki, an energy healing modality from Japan. I read every spiritual or metaphysical book I could find.
One of the first books I read was “Journey of Souls” by Michael Newton, a hypnotherapist who guided people into the Spirit realm. I thought, “Wow. Michael Newton has the coolest job.” But it never occurred to me that I could do that myself. Some years later, after quitting my corporate job and moving across the country a few times to find myself, I was managing a yoga center. One of the students came in, gushing over a great book she just read, “Journey of Souls.” I decided it was time to reread it. As I read it this time, all the bells went off in my head with the message: You are meant to do this work.
So, I contacted the Michael Newton Institute right away and went about getting certified as a hypnotherapist. Now I get to have the cool job. I’m thankful every day for doing work that I believe in while helping others. With clinical hypnosis, I support people in shifting their mindset, releasing old patterns and finding peace and fulfillment within. Using spiritual regression, I guide people to connect with their higher self, meet their Spirit Guides and get answers to their most important questions. Teaching Reiki, I share a tool that empowers people to heal themselves and others.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
People thought I was crazy to leave behind a well-paying job and everything I’d worked for. I moved from Hawaii to Boston without even telling most of my friends because I didn’t think anyone would understand this new me. I didn’t even have a plan for how to make money moving forward. I only knew that I only wanted to do work that’s aligned with my authentic self. Before I could do that I needed to devote myself to inner exploration and discover who I am. I lovingly call the first couple years after I left the corporate world, my monk-like years. I went from a cushy salary and lifestyle to earning minimum wage and living in the tiniest apartment with just enough money for rent and food. But I had time freedom and was happy with my deep inner dive for a couple years. There were definitely moments where I questioned my decision to leave. I felt stuck because I couldn’t see my next step forward but I didn’t want to go back. My journey required equal parts faith, trust and patience. I used to pray every night after work that Spirit would use me for a higher purpose. I felt like maybe the Divine deemed me unworthy because it wasn’t obvious what my meaningful work would be. As I kept listening to the “still small voice within,” it always led me to the next opportunity until now I am doing my dream job.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I specialize in spiritual regression: past life regression, life between lives regression and quantum healing hypnosis technique. All of these techniques help people to connect with their soul and get their own higher guidance from within. Although I’m very metaphysical, I’m also down to earth and relatable. I’ve always been someone people open up to easily – whether it’s the taxi driver or the person sitting next to me on the plane. People trust me because I have a lot of spiritual experience but I’m not an “airy fairy” nor am I trying to impress them. I just sincerely want to help and people can feel it. I also have a love affair with Reiki! This energy feels amazing while also healing body, mind and spirit. I’m super passionate about Reiki. The cool thing with Reiki is that anyone who wants to can learn it and have a simple yet powerful tool for self-healing. Everyone should try it at least once and see for yourself.
