Hidden Gems: Meet Sister Palm of Sister Palm

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sister Palm.

Hi Sister, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I first became acquainted with face reading while I was in art school, and I immediately fell down the rabbit hole. I had discovered this huge body of fascinating material on traditional oriental face reading and became convinced of it’s validity. That naturally led me to wonder: if the face can be read, can the hands be read too? At the time, palmistry still carried this campy, scam-artist reputation in movies and television, so I was curious whether there was actually a real craft hidden underneath the stereotype. I spent nearly ten years reading everything I could find on palmistry—though honestly, half of it made absolutely no sense. Over time, I slowly began piecing together my own integrative understanding of the practice, which expanded into body reading, symbolism, and bioenergetics. It started as a total obsession of a hobby; I was constantly reading for friends, then friends of friends, until eventually people began seeking me out professionally. That’s really how Sister Palm was born. Today, I combine palmistry with astrology, specializing in predictive timing and life cycles through both the hands and the horoscope. At this point, I read for roughly a thousand people every year, and I still feel like I’m uncovering new layers of meaning in the body all the time.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
My path as a professional mystic has actually felt surprisingly natural, which I take as a sign that I’m doing the work I’m meant to be doing. Almost immediately after I began sharing my work publicly, there was a strong response and a real curiosity from people. I think part of that came from the fact that I had already spent years seriously studying hand reading before ever presenting myself professionally. By the time I stepped into public practice, I had already devoted nearly a decade to research, observation, and reading hundreds upon hundreds of hands. Nothing about it felt overnight to me—it felt deeply prepared. What started as private readings quickly expanded into a much larger body of work. Today, I not only offer one-on-one palmistry and astrology sessions, but I also teach classes, host workshops and public events, lecture, and write educational material for different platforms. The practice has grown very organically over the years, mostly through word of mouth and community support. I still feel incredibly grateful that something which began as such a personal obsession has evolved into a full-time vocation.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Sister Palm ?
Sister Palm is a means for people to connect to the metaphysical sciences in a grounded, researched, and measurable way. People should know that palmistry—and the predictive arts as a whole—isn’t about speculating on inevitable death or taking a fatalistic approach to life, but rather accessing an additional layer of information that can help people make more informed decisions for themselves. I specialize in traditional hand reading and traditional astrology, with an emphasis on predictive timing and life cycles. What sets me apart from other practitioners is my deep textbook research and long-term study of the craft. I’m not an “intuitive reader” in the modern sense; I use observable and measurable analysis to gather practical information. I think people also respond to the fact that I’m not overly “woo-woo” about what I do. My approach is direct, analytical, historically informed, and well-researched.

We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
Self-acceptance.
