Hi Lado, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I started SURVOLER with a vision to bring a more modern, fashion-forward approach to men’s formalwear in Austin. Before launching the business, I spent several years working in retail space, dedicating myself to learning the craft, understanding customer service, styling, fit, and the overall the business . Once I realized I had outgrown my potential there, an opportunity came my way to start my own business, and I took the leap. Today, we’ve officially reached our 3-year mark.Over the past few years, I’ve built the business from the ground up through networking, word of mouth, social media, and hands-on customer service. While balancing overnight work to support the business financially, I continued investing into the brand, developing relationships, refining our style direction, and growing a loyal client base.Today, SURVOLER is evolving beyond custom clothing into a larger vision focused on premium ready-to-wear fashion, elevated client experiences, and eventually expanding into a physical retail storefront. The journey has required persistence, sacrifice, and long-term belief in the vision, but every stage has helped shape the foundation of the brand today.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I’ve learned that the difficult parts of the journey are often what shape you the most. Every obstacle, setback, or unexpected turn became an opportunity to learn, adjust, and keep moving forward with a stronger vision.
One of the biggest challenges was building the business from the ground up with limited resources while trying to establish credibility and grow awareness in a competitive industry. In the early stages, a lot of the growth came through networking, word of mouth, consistency, and creating strong experiences for clients one at a time.
There were also challenges with balancing financial pressures, managing growth, and learning how to operate a business beyond just the creative side of fashion. Like many entrepreneurs, there were moments of uncertainty and sacrifice along the journey, including balancing outside work responsibilities while continuing to invest into the brand.
At the same time, those struggles helped shape SURVOLER into what it is today. They taught me resilience, patience, and the importance of staying consistent even when growth takes time.

I’ve always been passionate about creating pieces and experiences that feel unique rather than simply following traditional trends. I enjoy pushing style boundaries while still maintaining elegance, quality, and strong attention to detail.I’m most proud of building the brand from the ground up and growing a loyal client base through consistency, relationships, and genuine passion for the craft. Seeing clients feel confident and transformed in what they wear is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.
