Today we’d like to introduce you to Virginia Belliveau.
Hi Virginia, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My story isn’t organized, intentional or anything I could have predicted. It was a walk of blind faith and relying on what I knew was true for me. After a hairstylist career of 17 years and a pandemic that would ultimately close the salon I was working at, as well as my son’s daycare, I would truly begin the deepest soul search of my life. It was a perfect storm of walking away from a lifetime of one of the worlds’ largest organized religions, a partner from the past that would die unexpectedly and facing the mirror as I confronted myself about what I really believed in happens to us after we die.
By age twenty, I started having paranormal experiences that I could not fully explain or understand. Seeing apparitions, disembodied voices, having objects appear with no explanation and being physically touched by something unseen, just to name a few.
In November 2022, after a series of crippling anxiety, panic attacks and paranoia of death, I embarked on a spiritual path to discover what I believed about after. Where do we go when we die? Is there life after life? This awakening is referred to by many as “The Dark Night of the Soul.” Determined to know, I heard very clearly that I needed to learn as much as I could about my intuition and paranormal experiences that had happened to me earlier in my life. This seeking would take me on a journey to discover things about myself I’d never known.
I wasn’t sure where to start, but knew I needed the foundations to understand energy, my psychic senses and to not be afraid of what I had experienced but couldn’t explain. After joining a 6 month intuitive mentorship for exploring all the basics, I started to have a clearer idea that my empathy, my lifelong sensitivity, my love for animals and human-kind meant more. I had healing capabilities and my intuition was strong. This understanding took me on the path to become a Reiki certified practitioner. I began my journey of energy healing, chakra work and grasping that our energetic body is truly connected to not only our physical body, but mental and emotional body. Our body holds memory, trauma, stories and needs true care.
Becoming a receptive and open channel, opened everything else. My intuition was getting stronger all the while, a muscle I didn’t know needed to be worked, strengthened, and nourished.
While doing an Oracle reading for a friend one day, an undeniable energetic presence made itself known to me. Her mother on the other side was using me to relay a message for her daughter and comfort her in a time of need. I knew in this moment that I was a medium and that I needed to help others connect to their loved ones on the other side. I then could recognize that all my paranormal experiences previously were not “ghosts” or paranormal, but loving spirits on the other side trying to connect with me! I have been channeling messages of light and love ever since.
I want people to understand that we are energy- never to be destroyed, only changing form. Our love, bond with others, memories, thoughts and personalities all come with us when we leave our physical bodies. I feel in my heart it was meant for me to do this sacred, beautiful work. I offer private readings, readings for groups and events and host regular gallery readings at Moon Beach Crystals in Leander, TX. When I’m not reading for others, I am mentoring people who are embracing and stepping into their power as sensitives and mediums. Teaching is a true passion of mine and I’m honored to train mediums in an empowering, ethical and accurate way.
I never dreamed this is where life would take me, but I hold my profession with the utmost care, respect and love. People come to me who are grieving, who don’t know how to feel closure and in turn, receive so much peace when they learn their loved ones have never really left them. I believe we are all intuitive and can communicate with our loved ones who have passed on, it’s just a matter of having an open heart and mind to what most deem impossible.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
One of the most challenging things for me, was to “come out” of the closet so to speak. I was afraid to tell my friends and family, coworkers and share with people what I was doing. This visibility wound is something I’ve had to do a lot of work around. Mediumship isn’t something I do, it’s part of who I am and that means embracing all the parts of me that could face judgement by others. It took some time at first, I only shared with people that I could trust. Today I’m able to confidently share who I am, what I do for work and am just accepting that not everyone will believe in what I do and that’s ok.

Morning Moon Medium is the brand name of myself, professional psychic medium Virginia Belliveau. I have trained with world renowned medium Cindy Kaza and poured my heart and soul into my own personal development and connection to spirit, so I can truly become the channel they deserve when coming through. I offer private readings as well as group readings, but my true passion is mentoring other developing mediums and helping them hone their craft in their own personal connection to the spirit world. I believe the next generation of mediums need to take their mediumship seriously so people can easily discern an honest and ethical medium from someone who’s treating like a hobby.
Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
When not reading or teaching you can find me gardening, out in the yard with my chickens and dogs, and being mom to my little boy. He’s been super into cooking and baking and it’s nice to have a little helper with the meal prep for our family each week!
