Hi Natalie, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started my Photo Booth rental business, Hi-Rez Solutions, in August of 2024. Since beginning, I’ve been blessed to do additional projects outside of photo booth rentals such as: passport photos, headshots, photography and videography for weddings, drone footage and website design for small business owners. Today, I still do Photo Booth rentals for events and design websites for businesses across the country. I’ve also launched a new business called The Blockchain Connect Organization, where I educate everyday people on the fundamentals of how to access cryptocurrency and how to use it for long term investments.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I assess my business operations and processes on a quarterly basis to see what is working and what isn’t. It is very hard to scale a business without reliable support on the backend. The biggest struggle is maintaining consistent processes while also scaling the business. At times, business contracts can be vast but because it is hard to procure the reliable help I need. The Photo Booth rental business requires in person interaction for networking and events. I’ve hired different contractors and it can be difficult to find the right fit. Often times new helpers have to be hired every season.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
The Blockchain Connect Organization is a platform where I share educational information about cryptocurrency. My goal is to teach the fundamentals of how cryptocurrency and the blockchain work. I have a daily blog and weekly newsletter that gives best practices on how to mine crypto and gives insights to guide people on how to invest in the DeFi (decentralized finance) system. I want to build a community where the information is accessible and digestible to anyone, even if you don’t have a background in finance or technology. My content centers around educating through facts and inspiring people to create their own crypto strategies with the information and insights I provide.
I’m proud of the new partnerships and contracts I have for Hi-Rez Solutions. Last Summer I obtained a photography government contract with the biggest school in Texas. I have the opportunity to bring photo booths, aerial photography and traditional photography services to the school and all of their satellite locations. I also have a marketing partnership with a Photo Booth software company based in China called Chacktok. I create content for Chacktok to use on their social media pages and website. I’m proud of the reputation Hi-Rez Solutions has as a creative agency providing not just photography services but website services as well. The photo booths have a way of bringing people together. It’s fun, it’s entertaining, appropriate for all ages and almost any type of event or gathering you can think of.
With both of my businesses I’m able to lean into my creative and technical skills which is something I love to share with the world.
If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
Consistency has greatly contributed to keeping my business going in a positive direction. Your word is everything. Showing up every time you say you will can be the difference between a contract being fulfilled or a contract falling through the cracks. As a business owner you have to be consistent to achieve your goals. Even when it seems like things aren’t working, you must be patient because repetition eventually makes you an expert in your craft. Once you’ve done something repetitively for tons of hours, you become confident and unstoppable.
