Today we’d like to introduce you to Brandy Burrow.
Hi Brandy, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I always had a deep fascination with psychic work. I’d watch mediums and intuitive readers on TV and wanted to help people like they did.
About 14 years ago I moved from Tulsa to Austin and enrolled in psychic development classes. My abilities turned out to be completely natural. Once I tapped in, my intuition took off – I was telling people things about their lives that I had no logical way of knowing, Reading requests started coming in and at some point I realized this wasn’t a hobby anymore.
From there I went deep into my training. I studied astrology and mediumship under renowned teachers so I could build a toolkit for my readings. I wanted a full range I could draw from depending on what a client actually needs. Today I combine tarot, astrology, mediumship and cartomancy into readings that are personalized to each person I work with.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
There are some challenges when showing off your “weird” side. Lucky for me, I live in Austin where being unconventional is embraced and celebrated. Some people from my past didn’t move forward with me because my work did not align with their personal beliefs. When you fully live authentically, you start noticing what is no longer in alignment – friendships, jobs, social circles – and it can be a challenge adjusting to the changes.

I help clients with understanding seasons of life – when circumstances will end and what’s ahead. I love helping my clients navigate major life transitions, complex decisions, and the kind of crossroads moments that keep them up at 3am.
I specialize in Astrology, cartomancy (reading regular playing cards), mediumship and tarot. I layer all these insights to bring clarity and direction to my clients with any life situation they are navigating. What sets me apart is that I bring every tool to the table – astrology, cartomancy, mediumship, and tarot all in one session. Instead of seeing five different practitioners to piece together the full picture, you get all of it with me. One reading with complete clarity.
I am most proud that his business was built from scratch. it started with me and a tarot deck and advanced into a full-time remote business helping clients from all backgrounds – I’ve read for clients ranging from everyday women navigating major life transitions to rock ‘n’ roll royalty.
I want readers to know that I’ve worked in this industry from the inside out — I also worked inside other psychics’ businesses and I’ve see what can give psychics a bad reputation. That experience is exactly why ethics are the foundation in my business. I built this practice on integrity, and every reading I give reflects that.
What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
Austin made all of this possible in a way I didn’t expect. There’s an openness here, an energy that gave me the space to fully step into who I am. I don’t think I would have grown into this work the same way anywhere else.
I love this city – the people, the food, the open-minded spirit that makes it easy to do unconventional work…I have only love for Austin!
