Hi Briana , please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Brilicious started from a place I never expected — it started as a way to cope with a big transition in my life. After relocating to Central Texas from El Paso, I was navigating a lot of changes and needed something that gave me purpose, creativity, and a sense of connection. That’s when this little idea began to grow.
Creativity has always been a part of my life. My mom has always been the planner in our family, always finding ways to make even the smallest gatherings feel special. Looking back, I realize I grew up surrounded by that love for celebrating others. I can remember us trying balloon art years ago — and while they definitely weren’t perfect (most of the time 😂), we had so much fun creating and bringing ideas to life.
That passion stayed with me, and about two years ago I decided to take that love for creating and turn it into something more. Starting my business became my outlet during a difficult season, and it helped me rediscover myself through creativity.
What started as a coping mechanism turned into a passion, a dream, and a way to help others create memories they’ll cherish. Every setup, every detail, and every celebration means so much because Brilicious was built from love, growth, and the desire to make life’s moments feel a little more special. ✨
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?

When you first start a business like this, one of the hardest parts is finding your audience and learning how to stand out in a market full of other talented artists. I’ve always tried to find ways to make Brilicious different — whether that was creating custom party favors, expanding what I offer, or finding ways to bring more creativity into every celebration.
In the beginning, I priced myself very low because I was focused on getting my name out there and building a community. While that helped me reach so many amazing people, but it also meant I lost financially. Looking back, I don’t see those moments as mistakes — I see them as lessons and the foundation that helped me grow into the business owner I am today.
This journey has taught me patience, resilience, and the importance of believing in what I’m creating. I’m still learning, still growing, and still finding new ways to make Brilicious better every day — but I’m so proud of how far it has come. ✨
We’ve been impressed with Brilicious , but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Brilicious is a creative event and custom design business based in Central Texas, specializing in balloon decor, event styling, custom party items, party favors, cake toppers, and personalized details that make celebrations feel extra special.
What started as a small passion project has grown into a brand built on creativity, connection, and creating memories. What sets us apart is the heart we put into every piece — we don’t just create decorations, we help bring our clients’ visions to life and create moments they’ll remember forever.
We are most proud of the growth of Brilicious and the community we’ve built along the way. Every order, event, and custom creation represents the love, dedication, and passion behind our brand. Our goal is to keep growing while continuing to make every celebration feel personal, meaningful, and truly Brilicious.
Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
My husband deserves so much credit. He has supported me every step of the way — even if that means taking on the role of my unpaid intern. His patience, encouragement, and belief in me have helped me continue pushing forward and growing.
I also want to credit my mother, father, and brother for always being there for me. Their love, guidance, and constant support have kept me grounded and reminded me to keep believing in myself. My brother is truly one of my biggest hype men, and his encouragement means more than he knows.
Lastly, I want to credit everyone who supports my work, whether you become a client or simply take the time to admire what I create. One of the most rewarding parts of this journey is being able to turn ideas into reality and share my creativity with others. I’m so grateful for every opportunity to create and for everyone who continues to support my dream.
