Today we’d like to introduce you to Brandon Kuhl.
Hi Brandon, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I’ve never been someone who followed a perfectly mapped-out path. My story has been built through curiosity—following creative interests wherever they led me. From gaming and technology to photography and content creation, I’ve always been fascinated by the way stories can be told through visuals, experiences, and human connection.
Over time, those interests became more than hobbies. They became a way for me to express myself, document the world around me, and connect with people from different backgrounds. Photography, in particular, taught me to slow down and notice details that often go unseen. It challenged me to be present, observant, and intentional.
Today, I’m still learning, creating, and exploring. What drives me isn’t the idea of reaching a final destination, but the opportunity to keep growing and sharing that journey with others. Every project, photograph, and experience becomes part of a larger story—one that’s still being written.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. One of the biggest challenges has been learning to trust the process when results don’t come immediately. Building something creative from the ground up means spending countless hours learning, creating, and improving without any guarantee that people will see it. There have been moments of self-doubt and times when it would have been easier to quit, but those experiences taught me patience and consistency.
I’ve also learned that comparison can be one of the biggest obstacles in any creative field. It’s easy to look at someone else’s finished product and forget the years of work behind it. I’ve had to remind myself that my only competition is the person I was yesterday. That mindset has helped me stay focused on growing instead of chasing validation.
Looking back, I’m grateful for those challenges because they’ve shaped not only my work but also who I am as a person. They taught me resilience, curiosity, and the importance of continuing to create even when you think no one is watching.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’m a multidisciplinary creative specializing in visual storytelling through photography, gaming, and digital content. My work is driven by a fascination with capturing emotion, atmosphere, and the small details that often go unnoticed. Whether I’m photographing people, creating gaming content that brings humor and a sense of ease to someone’s day, or documenting everyday moments, my goal is always the same: to tell stories that feel genuine and leave a lasting impression.
What I’m most proud of isn’t a single project—it’s the willingness to continuously reinvent myself and embrace new creative challenges. Every skill I’ve developed has been self-taught through countless hours of experimentation, failure, and persistence. That process has taught me that growth comes from staying curious and never becoming comfortable.
I believe what sets me apart is my mindset. I don’t see creativity through the lens of one medium. Photography influences the way I frame and edit my videos, gaming teaches me how to engage and entertain an audience, and every new skill I learn strengthens the others. Rather than chasing trends, I’m focused on creating work that feels authentic, intentional, and capable of connecting with people on a deeper level. For me, creativity isn’t just what I do—it’s how I see the world.
How can people work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
The biggest way people can support me is simply by following along with my journey. Every conversation, shared post, comment, and opportunity helps me continue growing as a creator. I’m especially interested in collaborations that blend photography, gaming, fashion, and technology in creative ways, and I’m always open to exploring projects that challenge me to think differently.
At the end of the day, I hope the work I create inspires others to pursue their own passions, no matter where they are in their journey. Creativity isn’t just about waiting for inspiration—it’s about showing up consistently, especially on the days when motivation isn’t there.
