Meet Aleeda Keys of The Butterfly Effect- Rise with Aleeda

Today we’d like to introduce you to Aleeda Keys.

Aleeda, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
My story has definitely had a lot of twists and turns. I’ve been in hospitality for over 18 years modeling, and serving drinks and being a therapist to people from all over the world. Iv’e always loved helping people with their pain and traumas from a very young age since I too have faced some of the hardest trials and tribulations at a very young age myself. Last year was the hardest season of my life, but i used all that pain and turned it into something beautiful. Between my health struggles, personal loss, heartbreak, and learning to rebuild myself from the ground up, I’ve discovered strength I never knew I had.

Today I’m living in the moment, not thinking about my past and I’m not worried about my future, cause we don”t know what tomorrow will bring. Sobriety has changed my life, healing has become my priority, and I’m truly passionate about creating a safe space where people feel seen, supported, and reminded that they are not alone. I’m still writing my story, but for the first time in a long time, I’m so so excited about what’s ahead!

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
My road has been far from smooth. I feel like life has tested me over and over again, but every challenge has taught me something about myself. I experienced abuse at a very young age that took away the innocence every child deserves to have. As I got older, I continued to go through things that no one should have to experience, including being sexually assaulted and finding myself trusting the wrong people, whether that was in relationships, friendships, or even jobs. I’ve been taken advantage of more times than I can count, but I refuse to let those experiences change the kind of person I am.

On top of all of that, I’ve had some scary health challenges that made me realize just how precious life really is. There were days I didn’t know if I was going to be okay, physically or emotionally. There were moments where I wanted to give up, but something inside me always kept pushing me to keep going. I wouldn’t have been able to get through it without my mom, friends and most importantly GOD. My faith in him helped me survive.

Looking back, I wouldn’t change what I’ve been through because it made me who I am today. It gave me compassion, strength, and a heart that truly understands pain. My experiences are the reason I’m so passionate about helping others heal. If sharing my story helps even one person feel less alone or gives them hope that things can get better, then every chapter I’ve lived through has had a purpose.

I still believe there is good in people. I still choose kindness. And every day I wake up, I choose healing over bitterness. That’s the person I want to be remembered as.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
The Butterfly Effect – Rise with Aleeda was created from my own journey of healing and the belief that one small act of kindness, one honest conversation, or one person choosing not to give up can create a ripple effect that changes lives.

My mission is to help people from all walks of life who feel lost, broken, overwhelmed, or like they’re carrying more than they can handle. Whether someone is healing from trauma, grief, addiction, health challenges, heartbreak, or simply trying to rediscover who they are, I want them to know they are not alone and that healing is possible.

One of the biggest parts of that mission is my podcast, Three Voices One Frequency, where we have real, honest conversations about mental health, trauma, resilience, sobriety, personal growth, and hope. It’s a space where people can share their stories, feel heard, and realize they don’t have to face life’s challenges alone. Supporting veterans living with PTSD is especially close to my heart, but our message is for anyone searching for healing, connection, and hope. We just recently launched our healing community platform.

Everything I create comes from my own experiences. I don’t claim to have all the answers, but I do believe our stories have the power to change lives. My goal is to inspire people to believe in themselves again, embrace their worth, and realize that their past doesn’t define their future.

At the end of the day, I want The Butterfly Effect – Rise with Aleeda to be known for one thing: reminding people that no matter where they’ve been or what they’ve survived, there is always hope, healing, and a reason to keep moving forward. You Are Not Alone.

Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
The biggest lesson I’ve learned is that you can have a good heart without giving everyone unlimited access to it. For a long time, I believed the good in people before I believed what they were showing me. I still believe there is far more good in this world than bad, but I’ve learned that it’s okay to protect my peace and let people earn my trust instead of giving it away so freely.

I’ve also learned to stop blaming myself for the things that happened to me. That has probably been the hardest lesson of all. For years I carried guilt for other people’s choices, wondering what I could have done differently. Healing has taught me that someone else’s actions are never a reflection of my worth.

I’ve made mistakes, trusted the wrong people, stayed too long in situations I should have walked away from, and ignored my intuition more times than I’d like to admit. But I’ve also learned that mistakes aren’t failures—they’re lessons. Every experience has helped me become stronger, wiser, and more aware of the life I want to create.

More than anything, I’ve learned that no matter what life throws at you, you always have a choice. You can let your past make you bitter, or you can let it make you better. Every day I choose healing, growth, forgiveness, and hope. I don’t always get it right, but I keep choosing to move forward.
