Today we’d like to introduce you to Amandine.
Hi amandine, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
For over ten years, I’ve worked as a fashion model, which gave me the opportunity to travel extensively and discover some of the world’s most beautiful hotels and destinations. Along the way, I developed a real passion for visual storytelling—not just being in front of the camera, but creating the images myself.
Over the past few years, I gradually transitioned into photography and content creation, combining my experience in fashion with my love for travel, design, and hospitality. Today, I create editorial photography and cinematic videos for hotels and lifestyle brands, helping them tell authentic stories through beautiful imagery.
What started as curiosity has grown into a career that brings together everything I love: traveling, meeting inspiring people, and creating meaningful visual experiences. Every project is an opportunity to capture the unique atmosphere of a place and share it in a way that makes people want to experience it for themselves.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Definitely not. Like many creative careers, it’s been full of ups and downs.
One of the biggest challenges was transitioning from being in front of the camera to building a career behind it. Even though I had years of experience in the fashion industry, I had to develop new skills, build a portfolio from scratch, and earn the trust of brands and hotels in a completely different role.
The creative industry is also very competitive, and success rarely happens overnight. There were moments of doubt, projects that didn’t work out, and periods where I questioned whether I was on the right path.
Looking back, though, those challenges taught me resilience and pushed me to keep improving. They also helped me create work that feels much more authentic and aligned with who I am today.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I specialize in editorial photography and cinematic storytelling for luxury hotels and lifestyle brands. My goal is never just to showcase a place—it’s to capture its atmosphere and create images that make people feel something.
Because I spent more than ten years working as a fashion model, I developed a deep understanding of composition, light, luxury branding, and visual storytelling. That experience allows me to approach every project from both sides of the camera, which I believe gives my work a unique perspective.
I’m especially proud of having built a career that combines all of my passions: travel, photography, design, and human connection. Every collaboration is different, and I love creating visual stories that feel elegant, authentic, and timeless rather than following short-lived trends.
What sets me apart is that I don’t simply create content—I create an editorial narrative. I want every photo and every film to transport people into a place and make them imagine themselves there.
Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers?
I think it’s important to remember that careers don’t always follow a straight line. Some of the best opportunities come from being open to change and trusting your curiosity, even when you don’t know exactly where it will lead.
For me, every place has a story to tell, and I feel incredibly grateful that I get to capture those stories through my work. If there’s one thing I’d like readers to take away, it’s to never stop exploring—whether that’s the world, new ideas, or even a new version of yourself.
