Today we’d like to introduce you to Briana Reynolds.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Table for One TX started during a season when I was single and learning to genuinely enjoy my own company. There can be a stigma around doing things alone, especially dining out, grabbing coffee, or exploring somewhere new and I wanted to help change that perspective.
I started taking myself on “solo dates” and, in a way, was “dating myself.” I started experiencing new restaurants, coffee shops, and adventures on my own and sharing them with others. That eventually grew into Table for One TX.
Now I’m married, but I still love doing things alone. My page has evolved to include experiences with my husband, family, and friends, while still encouraging people to be comfortable enjoying their own company. You don’t have to wait for someone else to start experiencing life. Sometimes a table for one is exactly what you need.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I wouldn’t say it’s always been a smooth road. One of the biggest challenges has been putting myself out there and learning not to compare my growth to others. Social media can be unpredictable, so I’ve had to remind myself to stay consistent, be authentic, and focus on why I started rather than the numbers.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
Table for One TX is all about discovering great food, coffee, hidden gems, and experiences throughout Texas and beyond. I create content that gives people an authentic look at places they may want to visit, from local restaurants and coffee shops to unique activities and travel experiences.
What I’m most proud of is the community I’ve built and the opportunity to support local businesses through my content. I think what sets me apart is that I try to keep everything genuine and relatable. I’m not just showing a pretty plate or a cool place, I want people to feel like they’re experiencing it with me and leave knowing whether it’s somewhere they’d want to visit themselves.
What are your plans for the future?
My goal is to continue growing Table for One TX and eventually turn it into a full-time career. I’d love to connect with more businesses and create promotional content that helps showcase what makes them special. I’m also excited to expand beyond Texas, reach a much larger audience across the country, and continue discovering and sharing new places and experiences along the way.
