Hi Jazz, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
My journey in music started at just 5 years old. My mother passed away when I was only 2, and as I grew older, I realized music was her dream. In many ways, I feel like I picked up the dream she never got the chance to fulfill. What started as a childhood passion became my purpose, leading me to develop my skills as a producer, artist, and creative.
Over the years, I’ve worked with artists, built my brand, released music, sold my production, and created my own platform through FettiKnox.com. There have been plenty of challenges and setbacks, but I’ve stayed committed to the vision. Today, Fetti Knox represents years of dedication, sacrifice, and a dream that’s bigger than me—I’m carrying my mother’s dream forward while building a legacy of my own.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No, it definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. There was a period where I experienced homelessness for about two years while continuing to make music and sleeping in my car. I also faced some serious health scares along the way, and there were plenty of moments when giving up would have been the easier choice.
Through all of it, I stayed focused on my purpose and refused to let my circumstances define me. I kept creating, kept working, and kept believing in the vision. Those struggles shaped me into who I am today and taught me that sometimes you have to keep going even when you can’t see the finish line.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m a music producer, artist, and entrepreneur specializing in creating high-quality beats and helping artists bring their vision to life. I’m known for my versatility, my sound, and my ability to create music that connects with artists and audiences. Some of my recent highlights include winning Best Album for an album I fully produced for T-Flasha, being recognized as Best Producer with my group Raw Witda Daw, being signed to Dream Gang Inc., and being recognized by Airbit.com as one of the best producers in the world.
What I’m most proud of is building my career from the ground up and continuing to grow despite everything I’ve faced. What sets me apart is that I’m not just making beats—I’m invested in the artist, the vision, and the finished product. I bring real-life experience, resilience, creativity, and a genuine passion for music into everything I do, and I’m always looking for ways to push my sound and my brand to the next level.
Networking and finding a mentor can have such a positive impact on one’s life and career. Any advice?
Don’t be afraid to collaborate. That’s the easiest way to learn from others and grown and build relationships. That has been a big part of my success over the years.
