Today we’d like to introduce you to Isaiah Buchanan.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
It all started with my older brother. As long as I could remember he had been calling me the name, “Zaybeezy” and introduced me to freestyling. He would only play christian rap around me and that was my introduction. Afterwards, I still kept that love for rap but it wasn’t until around 2019 when I met my producer Zone Diem did I see it as my future. Since then we’ve been through a lot of highs and lows to get where we are now. Lots of people I’m thankful for
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It’s been the furthest thing from a smooth road. I’ve been balancing life with dreams while trying not to lose balance. I’ve encountered every type of struggle but the show must go on.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a rapper. I’m known for making music and being pretty while doing it. I’m most proud to already be an influence to people this early on, I’m going to charge the world. What sets me apart isn’t much, just dedication.
What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
I love Austin’s music scene and energy. My least favorite things is probably the highway.
