Hi Stormy, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My journey into the world of lymphatics began in 2020, shortly after graduating from nursing school. As I began researching the lymphatic system more deeply, I was struck by how little attention this remarkable network receives within modern medicine and the broader conversation around health and wellness. The more I learned, the more passionate I became about understanding its role in the body—and helping others recognize its importance.
While living in Dallas, I was fortunate to receive a unique opportunity to work alongside a respected expert in the lymphatic field. During this time, I had the privilege of shadowing her, learning firsthand and gaining invaluable clinical knowledge that would ultimately shape my career. After becoming advanced certified in Dr. Vodder’s Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) technique, I began working with patients from a wide range of medical and surgical backgrounds.
After several years of planting roots in DFW, my world changed unexpectedly. My dad (my best friend), began suffering a series of strokes and making frequent visits to the hospital. Soon after, he was diagnosed with cancer involving three cervical lymph nodes in his neck. Faced with the reality of his illness, I made the deeply personal decision to uproot my life and career and move closer to him. That decision brought me to Austin.
What followed was one of the most difficult and, ultimately, miraculous chapters of my life. Through faith, divine intervention, and the care of extraordinary physicians and nurses, my dad experienced what I can only describe as a miracle. He began to heal. He went from being bed-bound and non-verbal, to walking, talking & telling his stories, as he always loved to do.
Looking back, I believe that divine intervention played a profound role not only in my dad’s recovery, but also in the path that unfolded for me in Austin. What began as an unexpected move during a season of hardship became the foundation for something I could never have anticipated.
Since arriving in Austin, I have built Texas Lymphatic Clinic (TLC), a mobile practice dedicated exclusively to providing exceptional Manual Lymphatic Drainage care in the comfort of our patients’ homes. TLC has grown through trusted relationships, compassionate care, and a commitment to delivering treatment that is safe, effective, and individualized.
We specialize in postoperative recovery and lymphatic wellness, utilizing Dr. Vodder’s MLD technique to support clients from a wide range of health backgrounds and surgical journeys.
Now, I am excited to announce, TLC is expanding to where much of my professional journey began, as I plant roots in Dallas and Fort Worth for lymphatic services — I’m also incredibly honored to softly introduce “Recové”, an upcoming brand both my business partner, Rachel Crump, and I are building. Recové is dedicated to bringing the surgical world the best recovery garments. We are working diligently behind the scenes to get this brand launched by the end of the year, so stay tuned for more updates! You truly won’t want to miss what’s coming.
I am incredibly grateful to work with physicians throughout Austin and Dallas–Fort Worth, caring for the patients they entrust to me. The relationships I have built with both physicians and patients are among the most meaningful aspects of my work.
For me, this has never simply been about building a business. It is about caring for people, educating others about a system that deserves far greater recognition, and being fully invested in every person who places their trust in me.
My greatest goal—and the mission of TLC, as well as Recové—will always be the same: to help each client move toward optimal health, healing, and recovery.
I absolutely love what I do. I am deeply grateful for every person who has been part of this journey, and I cannot wait to see where the next chapter leads.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Building Texas Lymphatic Clinic from the ground up has come with its own challenges. Establishing a new concept, earning the trust of physicians and patients, creating awareness around the importance of lymphatic care, and growing a business while maintaining the level of personalized care I believe every patient deserves has required tremendous persistence.
And now, I’ve taken on an entirely new challenge: creating Recové, a brand focused on surgical garment care and innovation – Developing a specialized postoperative garment from the ground up—one designed to address the realities of early surgical recovery—has required me to step into an entirely different side of the industry. From product development and prototyping to manufacturers, intellectual property, testing, and building a brand, there has been an enormous amount to learn. I credit my amazing business partner, Rachel Crump, for accompanying me on this journey. She’s at the heart of our innovation, as she’s a breast cancer survivor warrior and knows firsthand the challenges that come with garments after surgery. With her real life experience, and my years of knowledge as a lymphatic specialist, we’re developing something super special which will bring positive impact to the world of recovery.
It has been exciting, but it has also been overwhelming at times. Building two businesses simultaneously requires discipline, sacrifice, and the willingness to keep moving forward even when you don’t have all the answers.
There have certainly been moments when the growth felt slow and the path ahead was unclear. But those challenges have taught me patience, resilience, and, most importantly, trust. I’ve learned that sometimes what feels like a detour is actually preparation for something greater.
Looking back, I’m grateful for the difficult seasons because they shaped both the person and the businesses I am building today. My faith has been an anchor throughout the journey, and my dad’s recovery remains one of the greatest reminders that miracles can happen even when circumstances seem impossible.
The road hasn’t been smooth—but it has been incredibly meaningful. Every obstacle has strengthened my purpose, and every new challenge has pushed me to grow beyond what I thought I was capable of. Most importantly, every patient I’ve had the privilege of helping has reminded me why I started in the first place—and why I’m so passionate about creating better solutions for people during one of the most vulnerable seasons of their lives.

We specialize in supporting the body during the recovery process following cosmetic and reconstructive procedures, helping clients navigate swelling, fluid retention, tissue changes, and the physical demands of healing. What does success mean to you?
Success, for us at Texas Lymphatic Clinic, is defined by how well our clients heal—physically, emotionally, and confidently—after surgery.
It is not measured solely by the number of sessions provided or the services delivered, but by the quality of recovery we help facilitate. Success means reduced swelling, improved comfort, and a smoother healing process that allows the body to function and restore itself as efficiently as possible. It also means our clients feel informed, supported, and reassured at every stage of their recovery.
We consider it a success when clients feel a noticeable difference in their well-being after each visit, when they regain confidence in their bodies, and when the recovery process feels less overwhelming and more manageable. Equally important is the trust we build—both with our clients and with the surgeons and medical professionals who rely on us to extend the standard of post-operative care beyond the clinical setting.
Success also means consistency in excellence. It is reflected in our commitment to ongoing education, refinement of technique, and adherence to the highest standards of lymphatic care.
