Exploring Life & Business with Catie & Danielle Fitzgerald & Henderson of From 9 to Mom

Today we’d like to introduce you to Catie & Danielle Fitzgerald & Henderson.

Catie & Danielle, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Catie and Danielle are both full-time marketing professionals and co-owners of their own digital marketing agency. From 9 to Mom actually started as an experiment — a way for us to learn the podcasting side of the industry firsthand so we could bring that expertise back to our own clients.

What we didn’t expect was how quickly it would resonate. As we dug in, we realized there was a real void in the space: no one was having honest, unfiltered conversations about what it actually looks like to be a working mom — the juggling, the guilt, the wins nobody sees. That realization became the whole mission of the show.

Since then, From 9 to Mom has grown into something much bigger than a side project. We bring on real experts and professionals across every category that matters to working moms, and our goal is to build a genuine resource hub — a place where women can find the information, tools, and support they didn’t even know they needed. At the end of the day, we just want to make the juggle a little easier for the moms coming up behind us.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Honestly, no — it hasn’t been smooth, and we don’t try to pretend it has. Because we both work full-time jobs on top of running our own agency, the podcast has never been able to be our top priority. It’s always had to fit into the cracks of an already full schedule.

We had to teach ourselves everything from scratch — filming, editing, production — all the tedious, unglamorous parts nobody sees. And because we’re genuinely working moms ourselves, a lot of that learning happened after the kids were finally asleep, or squeezed into a lunch break between meetings.

It took a while, but we finally found our rhythm. And this year has been a real turning point — we’ve started booking paid guests and brand collaborations, which has made all those late nights feel worth it.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
From 9 to Mom is a podcast built for working moms who are juggling a full-time career and motherhood — and want real conversations, not the polished, picture-perfect version of “having it all.”

We specialize in bringing on real professionals across every category that matters to working moms — from health and wellness to parenting, career, and everything in between — so our listeners walk away with practical resources and information they didn’t know they needed.

What sets us apart is that we’re not outside observers talking about working moms — we ARE working moms. Everything we cover comes from lived experience, which means our conversations are honest, relatable, and actually useful, not just theoretical.

What we’re most proud of, brand-wise, is the community we’re building — an environment where working moms can find access to information and resources that make the day-to-day juggle just a little bit easier. We want readers to know that From 9 to Mom isn’t just a podcast — it’s a resource hub built by moms, for moms.

How do you think about happiness?
What makes us happiest is knowing we’re actually helping. When a mom reaches out and tells us an episode gave her a resource she didn’t know existed, or made her feel less alone in the chaos of balancing work and motherhood — that’s everything. That’s the whole reason we started this.

Watching the community grow around those shared struggles, and being able to hand listeners real tools and information they can use, is what makes all the late nights and lunch-break editing sessions worth it.
