Daily Inspiration: Meet Liz Davis

Today we’d like to introduce you to Liz Davis.

Hi Liz, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My path into the healing arts was never something I planned. It was something I felt called to.

After college, I was living and working in the fashion industry in New York City. I loved the energy of the city, but I had also been practicing yoga since my college years, and there was always a deeper part of me quietly asking for something more.

One day, while sitting in a meditation class, I had a profound realization. My time in New York had come to an end.

The feeling was undeniable.

Three days later, I packed up my life and left the city, without saying goodbye to anyone. I simply knew it was time to go.

I returned home to Pittsburgh, unsure of exactly what was next. Shortly after, my father’s girlfriend offered me a Reiki and crystal healing session. I had no idea at the time that this experience would change the course of my life.

During that session, I felt a level of peace, clarity, and deep connection that I had never experienced before. Something shifted within me. I remember leaving with a profound sense of knowing that this was the direction I was meant to pursue.

In that moment, I made a promise to myself. I wanted to help other people experience the kind of healing and reconnection I had felt that day.

That commitment led me to become a yoga teacher in 2009 and eventually expand my work into Reiki, clinical hypnotherapy, energy healing, and women’s confidence coaching.

Today, I bring these modalities together to help people reconnect with themselves, build confidence, release old patterns, and create lives that feel more authentic, embodied, and aligned.

When I look back, I can see that every step was leading me here.

My work has always been about one thing: helping people come home to themselves.

Just as I once found my way home to myself.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Life is never a smooth ride and I relish that. The journey of working for yourself, has its ups and downs like anything, but there is nothing better than getting to live your dream.

Leaving New York City and working in fashion was a hard transition into the healing and yoga world! Plus, then I moved to Austin, Texas. Which at the time in 2010 was still a tiny city. Quite the adjustment!

It was challenging taking a career that was fringe at the time, but so exciting to do something completely different than the norm.

I’ve always loved taking the road less traveled. You meet the best people along the way. Everything I offer my clients has personally helped me heal and change my own life.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I create & curate transformational experiences that help people reconnect with themselves.

For more than 16 years, I’ve guided individuals and organizations through personalized journeys that blend yoga, clinical hypnotherapy, Reiki, personal transformation coaching, and mindfulness.

Whether through one-on-one sessions, immersive retreats, 30-day transformational programs, or corporate wellness events, every experience is intentionally designed to cultivate more confidence, clarity, and anything else the client desires and needs.

If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
I grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania out in the country riding horses, and playing outside with my older sister and triplet boy cousins who lived right behind us.

We had family dinners every Sunday. Pittsburgh was a great place to grow up, very grounded and salt of the earth type people there. It helped me realize that having a life of richness is the people around you.
