Hi Maira, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Eight years ago, what started as a simple curiosity quickly turned into a worldview. Armed with a camera, I began capturing anything and everything that caught my eye—from the quiet beauty of the outdoors to the chaotic, joy-filled moments of family birthday parties, family outdoor events, wildlife etc. Every frame was a lesson in light, texture, and timing, but more importantly, it was pure fun. I enjoyed it so much!
As the years went on, that weekend hobby began taking up more and more space in my life. The quiet ambition to turn a creative outlet into a full-fledged career grew too loud to ignore. Taking the ultimate leap of faith, I stepped away from the safety of the sidelines and officially launched the photography business.
It was a bold move, but the risk paid off. I knew Jesus would help guide me. Today, as time has passed and the business has evolved, the core of why I started remains completely unchanged. Beneath the client schedules, editing queues, and business management, the initial spark is still fully alive—proving that when you build a career around what you love, the passion only deepens.
It is also a reminder, that serving others also reflects God’s goodness through the lense.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Balancing and prioritizing your time can be a challenge. Especially, if you have a fulltime job aside from your business. I had to learn in order to grow your business you have to invest financially, take classes or training courses, and take the time to learn and apply new skills each photoshoot.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am a photographer specializing in outdoor landscapes, wildlife, individual portraits, and family photoshoots. Whether I’m tracking the quiet magic of wildlife in nature or capturing the lively, candid energy of a family gathering, my goal is to create authentic, visually striking images that tell a genuine story.
I’m known for my patience, warm approach, and deep appreciation for natural light and the outdoors. Whether working with individuals, active families, or waiting for the perfect moment in nature, I create a comfortable, and relaxed environment.
My photography started as a passion eight years ago, and trusting God’s plan allowed me to take a true leap of faith to launch this business. I view every shoot not just as a job, but as an opportunity to serve others, honor the unique beauty in their lives, and reflect God’s goodness through timeless imagery.
Through all the growth, learning, and business milestones, my core passion for the craft remains as strong as the day I first picked up a camera—and I’m deeply grateful to do what I love.

Above everything else, my faith in Jesus and my family are the foundation of who I am.
My relationship with God shapes how I see the world, how I treat people, and how I run my business. It gives me purpose, keeps me grounded, and reminds me that every day—and every person—is a gift worth celebrating.
My family is my greatest blessing and biggest motivation. They are my safe harbor, my daily inspiration, and the reason I work hard to build something meaningful. Everything I do, from picking up my camera to stepping out in faith, is driven by my love for them and my desire to honor God in all areas of my life.
