Rising Stars: Meet Alexandra Rose of Austin

Today we’d like to introduce you to Alexandra Rose.

Hi Alexandra, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I started acting in 8th grade where I found my love of theater. I was in plays throughout high school and took a long break before coming back to it this year. Im now an acting student at Austin Acting school. I have been recently featured in The Lady Bird soda Commercial and will be in the up and coming production of Mazel Tough! I started in student productions with Texas University and the UT Film School, and can’t wait to see where my journey leads me!

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Balancing my job as a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist has been the biggest obstacle. While I truly love my job, I think that learning how to balance a very hard and demanding job while acting on the side has been mg greatest challenge. However I love my job and find that it helps build character.. Lol

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Im a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist! I assist doctors in diagnostic and interventional procedures. I take call and wake up in the middle of the night to save people having heart attacks its pretty insane.

What makes you happy?
Creating. All kinds. Everything from paintings to books to film. Creative people keep the world spinning and I want to keep real creativity alive forever
