Exploring Life & Business with Lauren Colletti of Lauren Colletti FNP, SolWomen

Today we’d like to introduce you to Lauren Colletti.

Hi Lauren, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I’m the daughter of a neuroscientist and a nurse, so science and medicine were always around me. I grew up in Houston and spent my summers on Cape Cod. Those summers taught me to adapt and try new things.

I was a competitive soccer player, even at 6’1″. I was always curious. I wanted to try everything and do it well. And I always knew I wanted to go into medicine.

So I went after the best training and the best experience I could find. That drive served me well. It got me to where I am in my career.

But it also came with a cost. Pushing that hard for that long led to some health challenges of my own. And that’s a big part of why I connect with my patients the way I do. I’ve been there. I get it.

Today I’m a mom, a wife, a business owner, and a clinician. I help women in midlife feel like themselves again. Everything from my childhood to now has shaped how I show up for them.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No, it hasn’t been a smooth road.

School didn’t come easy for me. I was diagnosed with ADHD at three. I was spirited and very active. I did well in school, but I had to work harder than everyone else to get there. There was always a lot of pressure.

Early in my career, I spent years building medical practices for other people. It took me a while to realize the best thing for me was to build my own. That was a big shift.

Between my first and second child, I had three miscarriages. I was wired to push forward and ignore my body, my needs, and my nervous system. During that time, it all caught up with me. There was a lot of pain and loss. It’s also what pushed me deeper into functional medicine, mindset, and nervous system work. It changed how I see health, life, and gratitude.

And most recently, I walked away from an eight-figure business I co-founded and helped build. That’s been hard emotionally. But I want to do this on my own terms.

I’m a big presence. Big energy, big heart. Traditional business, especially when it’s run mostly by men, tends to want women to be quieter and smaller. That’s caused a lot of internal struggle for me. I’m done dimming my light.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, certified in functional medicine through the Institute for Functional Medicine. I have advanced training in hormone replacement therapy, peptide therapy, and anti-aging and longevity medicine. I’ve been in healthcare for nearly 20 years and Functional Medicine for 15 years. I’ve worked with thousands of patients, primarily women.

I help women get answers to health problems no one else has solved. I use comprehensive testing, but I don’t stop at the labs. Women’s hormones are complex. So are our environments and our lives. Longevity isn’t about perfect lab numbers.

Women are often ignored or dismissed. We’re told everything is normal when we know something is off. I teach women not to settle. I help them take control of their health and trust their intuition.

I see the same pattern in high-achieving women all the time. We push through. We take care of our kids, our partners, our patients, our teams. And there’s very little left for us.

I lived that. I built the life I thought I wanted, and I wasn’t in it. My joy, my purpose, who I am outside of everything I do, got lost. I burned out. That’s what led me to this work.

What I do

I have a concierge functional medicine practice. I focus on midlife transformation, hormone replacement therapy, and longevity. I still see men, and I love working with them. But women are my passion.

I’m also the co-founder of Sol Women, a membership community for women 40 and up. It’s built on three pillars: functional medicine, mindset and nervous system support, and sisterhood. We also host retreats and in-person events, like our Radiance Revival retreats.

What sets me apart

I don’t stop at lab work and prescriptions. Hormones matter, but so do your nervous system, your mindset, and the people around you. My approach is simple: get the data, get a plan, and get support. Women need all three to really change.

What I’m most proud of

Helping women feel like themselves again. Not just healthier, but back in their own lives.

What I want readers to know

You don’t have to push through this alone. Your symptoms aren’t just aging. Trust what your body is telling you. And you deserve to be part of your own life.

Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
I was a college soccer player despite being over 6″1″. I lived on a sailboat in college doing oceanography research and learning how to navigate by the stars (celestial navigation). I’ve never met a stranger and love meeting people. I won a dance competition with my husband early during our dating– two step. I went through my own personal spiritual awakening 8 years ago which shaped me and how I work with patients. My greatest accomplishment is being a mom, having 3 home births but I also have a drive to make a big impact in this world through my work. Very mission and vision driven!
