Check Out Leigh-Ann Scroggins’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Leigh-Ann Scroggins.

Hi Leigh-Ann, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My career has taken a few twists and turns, but looking back, I can see a common thread running through all of it. I’ve always loved helping people, bringing ideas to life, and creating experiences that make a positive difference in the world.

I started my professional career in the corporate world, working as an Executive Assistant to the SVP of Marketing and Director of Advertising at Dr Pepper Snapple Group. It was an incredible learning experience, and I discovered that I had a natural ability to juggle lots of moving pieces, anticipate needs, solve problems, be trusted with highly confidential information, and help the people around me succeed. Plus, I formed really strong bonds with the leaders I supported. They were like fairy God Parents to me.

Along the way, I was also experiencing a lot of personal growth and exploring my interest in spirituality, consciousness, and intentional living. In 2010, I created Life Aquarian as an outlet for sharing those interests and connecting with people who were asking some of the same bigger questions about life.

Eventually, I transitioned into the travel industry, where I specialized in luxury vacations, group travel, and destination weddings. I absolutely loved helping people plan experiences they would remember for the rest of their lives. I was fortunate to become a top producer for AM Resorts, generating more than $1 million in annual travel sales, but what I enjoyed most was building relationships with my clients and knowing I helped create something special for them.

Over the years, Life Aquarian has evolved alongside me, eventually becoming a platform for sharing conversations, ideas, and experiences through podcasting, video, and community. It’s been a creative outlet and a way for me to express a side of myself that doesn’t always fit neatly into a traditional job description.

A few years ago, I made another significant shift and began working independently, supporting entrepreneurs, coaches, and business owners as an Executive Operations Partner.

That transition brought so many of my experiences together. I found myself doing everything from managing daily business operations and creating systems to building online communities, developing digital courses, coordinating events, and helping entrepreneurs turn their visions into something tangible.

One of the things I’ve enjoyed most is working with people in the personal development and wellness space. I’ve had the opportunity to help bring meaningful programs and experiences into the world while doing the kind of behind-the-scenes work that comes naturally to me.

I’ve also become involved in facilitating in-person gatherings that encourage women to connect and build authentic relationships, which has been another rewarding way to bring my professional skills and personal values together.

Today, I think of myself as someone who bridges the practical and the creative. I love technology, organization, strategy, and finding more efficient ways to do things, but I’m equally passionate about people, connection, creativity, and personal growth.

If there’s one thing my journey has taught me, it’s that success doesn’t necessarily mean climbing a traditional career ladder. Sometimes it’s about following your heart, being willing to reinvent yourself, and discovering how all the different pieces of your experience can come together in a way that feels authentic and aligned.

And I still feel like I’m evolving, which is one of the things I love most about this chapter of my life.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No, definitely not! I’ve learned that when you’re someone who wants to live a truly authentic life, that often means going against the grain, questioning the status quo, and being willing to take a different path.

I tried following the traditional template for success. I graduated from college Summa Cum Laude, landed the big-girl corporate job, bought a house, and checked all the boxes I thought I was supposed to check. And yet, I wasn’t happy.

I eventually realized that material possessions and external achievements weren’t the source of my happiness. That realization led me to develop a regular spiritual practice that fills my cup in a way nothing else ever has.

At one point, I had everything I thought I wanted, and I ended up losing it all. But I was also willing to let those things go because I knew there had to be more to life than simply accumulating things and meeting society’s expectations.

There have been plenty of periods of feast and famine along the way, particularly as I’ve navigated self-employment and chosen a less conventional path. But those experiences taught me how to do more with less, how to be resourceful, and, most importantly, what I truly value.

I’ve also come to understand that money isn’t my primary motivator. Of course, I need it to live, and I certainly enjoy the freedom and experiences it can provide! But I’m no longer willing to sacrifice my peace, health, or happiness in pursuit of it the way I did when I was younger.

For me, success today looks very different than it once did. It’s about having the freedom to live authentically, doing work that feels meaningful, nurturing the relationships that matter, and enjoying the life I’m creating along the way.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I wear a lot of hats, and I actually love it that way!

Professionally, I work as an Executive Operations Partner, primarily supporting entrepreneurs, coaches, and small business owners in the personal development and wellness space. I like to think of myself as the person who helps bring their big ideas to life.

My work is a combination of business operations, technology, creative projects, and relationship management. On any given day, I might be building an online course, managing a membership community, coordinating an event, creating content, troubleshooting technology, or developing systems that make a business run more efficiently.

I’m a bit of a Jill of all trades, but if there’s one thing I specialize in, it’s figuring things out! I’m naturally curious, resourceful, and love learning new technology. Give me a challenge, and chances are I’ll find a way to make it work.

One of the things I’m most proud of professionally is the trust I’ve built with the entrepreneurs I’ve supported. I’ve been given the opportunity to take ownership of entire projects and business operations, often turning someone’s idea into a fully functioning program, platform, or experience. There’s something incredibly rewarding about helping someone bring their vision to life while giving them the freedom to focus on what they do best.

But there’s another side of my work that’s equally important to me.

In 2010, I created Life Aquarian, my personal brand and creative outlet dedicated to conscious living, spirituality, personal growth, and exploring what it means to live authentically.

Through my podcast, YouTube channel, and other creative projects, I share my experiences, perspectives, and conversations about everything from spirituality and astrology to relationships, intentional living, and questioning the conventional ideas of what a successful life should look like.

I’m also passionate about creating opportunities for genuine human connection. I’ve facilitated women’s gatherings and small-group experiences designed to help people move beyond surface-level conversations and build meaningful relationships.

I think what sets me apart is that I’m equally comfortable in the practical and the philosophical. I can spend my morning building an automation or troubleshooting a website and my afternoon having a deep conversation about consciousness, relationships, or the meaning of life.

And I genuinely enjoy both!

Ultimately, whether I’m supporting someone else’s business or creating something through Life Aquarian, the common thread is my desire to make life a little easier, more meaningful, and more enjoyable for the people I connect with.

I’m most proud of the fact that I’ve continued to reinvent myself, follow my passions, and build a life and career that increasingly reflect who I really am, rather than who I once thought I was supposed to be.

We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
For me, success is measured by the amount of peace, happiness, and love I experience in my life.

Sure, it’s wonderful to have a full roster of clients and all the bills paid, but being able to do that in a way that feels easy, natural, and FUN? That’s the holy grail so many of us are seeking!

It’s not about being busy for the sake of being busy or constantly chasing the next achievement. It’s about doing meaningful work that lights me up, contributes to raising the consciousness of the planet, and inspires others to step into their highest potential.

Ultimately, I believe true success is creating a life that feels as good on the inside as it looks on the outside.
