My journey in the beauty industry began in Ukraine, where I discovered my passion for helping people feel confident through professional hair removal services.
In 2020, I founded Laser Time with a vision to provide high-quality treatments based on safety, education, and professional expertise.
In 2022, my family and I moved to the United States because of the war in Ukraine. Starting over in a new country was challenging, but I saw it as an opportunity to rebuild my business and continue growing professionally.
Today, I am the founder of Laser Time in Cedar Park, Texas, a licensed laser hair removal professional, an electrologist, and an approved laser hair removal training provider in Texas.
Education has become an important part of my career. I train future professionals, share my experience, and have written a book, Smooth Skin, Smooth Business, to help beauty professionals develop their skills and businesses.
One of my proudest achievements was founding and organizing the USA Laser Hair Removal Championship in 2026, a national professional competition created to recognize talent, promote high standards, and bring industry professionals together.
My journey has taught me that success is not simply about building a business. It is about creating opportunities, sharing knowledge, and making a meaningful contribution to an industry I truly love.
And I believe this is only the beginning.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
My journey has definitely not been an easy one.
One of the biggest challenges was leaving Ukraine because of the war and starting a new life in the United States in 2022. I had to rebuild not only my personal life but also my professional career in a completely new environment.
As an immigrant entrepreneur, I faced many challenges, including the language barrier, understanding American business regulations, obtaining professional licenses, and building trust with new clients.
The beauty industry in the United States has strict regulations, especially when it comes to laser hair removal. I had to learn new systems, meet licensing requirements, and adapt my professional experience to American standards.
At the same time, I was raising two children and trying to create stability for my family while developing my business.
There were moments of uncertainty, but I never considered giving up on my professional goals.
Instead, I continued learning, investing in education, and expanding my expertise. Over time, I became an approved laser hair removal training provider in Texas, published my book, and organized the USA Laser Hair Removal Championship.
These experiences taught me resilience, patience, and the importance of believing in your vision, even when the path forward is uncertain.
Today, I see challenges not as obstacles that stop us, but as opportunities to grow stronger and create something meaningful.

One of our most significant initiatives is the USA Laser Hair Removal Championship, which I founded in 2026. This nationwide professional competition was created to recognize outstanding specialists, encourage excellence, and promote higher professional standards within the industry.
What makes me most proud is that Laser Time has grown beyond a traditional beauty business. It has become a platform for professional education, knowledge sharing, and industry development.

Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
Happiness for me is a combination of family, personal growth, and doing something meaningful.
My greatest happiness comes from my family, especially my two children. Watching them grow, discover their talents, and pursue their dreams reminds me every day of what truly matters in life.
I also find happiness in my work. Seeing my clients become more confident, watching my students grow into successful professionals, and knowing that my knowledge can positively impact someone else’s life brings me genuine joy.
I love creating new projects, learning, and turning ideas into reality. Organizing the USA Laser Hair Removal Championship was one of those moments when I felt especially proud and fulfilled.
After experiencing the challenges of leaving my home country and rebuilding my life, I have learned to appreciate the simple things: peace, health, family time, and the freedom to pursue my dreams.
For me, true happiness is not just about personal success. It is about having the opportunity to grow, inspire others, and build a meaningful life for my family.
