Today we’d like to introduce you to Holly Blaiser.
Hi Holly, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My name is Holly Blaiser. I have five parents and nine siblings. I’ve always liked girls since the nurse pulled me out of the womb, but I still kissed Stephen in the coat room in 3rd grade. I have many passions. I love connecting with humans. I want to help people. I think being genuine and authentic is everything. I enjoy talking and writing and I have a lot to say. But I love to listen and give advice and show empathy to everyone. I’m a cat lady and a dog lady and I am a lady, but if you call me sir I won’t be offended.
I’m from Minnesota, and I’ve tried to move to Austin a total of three times in the last four years. You know what they say: third time’s the charm! (Also, divine timing.) I officially moved here last summer and I love it. The energy here, especially for conscious entrepreneurs is amazing. I met my partner here and we’re starting a platform for conscious spaces/rentals, experiences, and brands! We’re both so excited to open it up to others, and create a community filled with love that this world needs.
Career wise; I specialize in short term rentals, animated art/abstract photography, and a dash of marketing 🙂
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Definitely not a smooth road, but the bumpiness of this road has been necessary to get me to where I am today! I expect there will be more bumps, but something I’m really striving to do is live in the NOW.
I struggled a ton with being gay and Catholic, then I struggled with being comfortable in my own female skin, then I struggled with finding a job that filled my heart up; I’m grateful for finding my own way spiritually, loving myself fully, and creating the life of my dreams! Slowly, but surely <3
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I do a little bit of everything! I manage a beach house in Costa Rica and a short term rental in Saint Paul, Minnesota, I created my own animated art/abstract photography business: Edits by Holly, and I do a dash of marketing. On the side, I do Rover (pet sitting) because I love animals so much. I also pick up side gigs via FB groups; there is a plethora of odd jobs people are looking for! I see work more as an energy exchange, a shift in perspective that has helped me love my life more and spread my positive energy to others I stumble upon.
What makes you happy?
Seeing others happy! It’s such a beautiful frequency that is contagious. The more healed and uplifted you are, the more we are too 🙂
