Community Highlights: Meet Valarie Pina of Sculpt Your Body

Today we’d like to introduce you to Valarie Pina.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I’m an esthetician. Soon after I graduated esthetician school, I quickly started applying for jobs. I came across an add that a company was looking for someone that would be willing to learn body contouring. I applied, ended up getting hired on, and I completely fell in love with it.

I knew I was really good at body contouring and decided to move further and get the proper training and certification. I was unsure at the time if I still wanted to work with the company or branch out on my own.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
To be honest, it was hard for me to get to where I’m at today. I had to battle depression, anxiety, suicide attempts during the entire time of me wanting to work for myself. I’ve failed once before and I learned from my mistakes I’ve made in the past.

I’ve grown as a woman, a mom, and a fiancé. I had to learn how to balance God, work, family time and personal time for myself. No matter what obstacles I’ve faced, I’ve overcome them.

As you know, we’re big fans of Sculpt Your Body. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
I offer non-invasive body contouring treatments.
– Ultrasonic Cavitation
– Radio Frequency (skin tightening)
– Vacuum Therapy

The treatments I provide can help with loose skin, stretch marks, unwanted fat.

I market to everyday people that want to help improve their lifestyle at an affordable rate. I try to stay below market value because I don’t think you should break the bank to work on areas of the body that make you uncomfortable, insecure or just want to enhance.

I also want to make my place a safe place for you to come, receive your treatment, and just talk. Honestly, about anything. If you’re sad, mad, happy. Express yourself.

What do you like and dislike about the city?
The people here in Austin are super friendly and welcoming. It’s a breath of fresh air because when I moved here from Dallas in 2020, I was afraid I wasn’t going to make any new friends.

Everyone here has been so welcoming and a lot of my clients have turned into good friends of mine.
