Today we’d like to introduce you to Keren Eldad.
Hi Keren, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Sure! I’m a personal and executive coach, with a method designed to help the most intense personalities (“over-achievers”) uncover and overcome their blindspots. I work with world-class leaders, entrepreneurs, high profile athletes and media personalities and major corporations using a multi-layered virtual and personal experience which I have created based on a pretty broad range of coaching accreditations, including the gold-standard International Coaching Federation accreditation. I live here with my husband, Ryan, and we have four pets: Waffles, Moose, Noli and Lyla.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It hasn’t been a smooth road – but it HAS been fun. First of all – has anyone ever had a smooth road? In fact, would anyone ever be inspired by the story of a person who HAD a smooth road? I don’t think so. I do not think anyone would respond to a story that goes: “the queen was born. Her life was dope and everything went her way. The end.”
So, yes, I have had resistance and difficulty along my career path – but it was all very useful and even enjoyable. Like anyone else starting something big, I did not fall headfirst into success the moment I discovered my purpose and aimed at it; I fell, I felt judged, I messed up, I had crises – from not finding work for many months to having to sleep on friend’s sofas to make ends meet. But man, it sure has been worth it, and to be honest -all of us can handle variety way better than we can handle conformity and stagnation. In this sense, the topsy turvy journey really is exciting and fun and makes success that much sweeter.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Like other coaching businesses, I offer coaching, talks and workshops to aid successful businesses and teams. I feel that what sets us apart is:
1. the specialization in intense personalities with rigor and accreditation (“over-achievers”) and 2. my approach. It’s more “entertainer” than “coach:” funny, warm and reassuring. I know that changing your life is not easy. But it doesn’t have to not be fun.
Have you learned any interesting or important lessons due to the Covid-19 Crisis?
Yes. That all we have is our perspective, each other and this moment. Nothing else counts and nothing else matters. To solve anything in your life moving forward, always solve for these.
