Exploring Life & Business with Hasan Yacoub

Today we’d like to introduce you to Hasan Yacoub.

Hi Hasan, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Growing up, I have always had a passion for Real Estate, it was so interesting to see different styles and neighborhoods. I have been in Real Estate as an investor since 2017 however, it really started to grow on me after I was searching for a home for my family. In 2020, my wife and I became homeowners and turned our first house into our home. The process inspired and motivated me to finally pursue a career in real estate. The first step I needed to complete was to study for my license exam and gain more experience. My Business Management Degree definitely came in handy as well as the experience I picked up in the process of buying our first home. I got licensed in May of 2021 and quickly scaled to serving the Austin, Houston, and Central Texas areas.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The biggest challenge in today’s market is seeing families putting offers on dozens of houses before finally getting their offer accepted. I feel for the families that want to become homeowners but are constantly priced out or outbid by bigger corporations and cash buyers. I definitely try my best in crafting my clients’ offers strategically so their offer can be accepted and provide the best service for my clients.

Can you share something surprising about yourself?
Something that surprised me was the $5+ million in volume sold within the first few months of my Real Estate Career. I had a goal of $2 million within my first year, but I reached that within the first 45 days. Real Estate is definitely where I see myself in years to come. I am on track to meet my 2022 goal of doing $20+ million in volume.
