Check Out Andrew Bayer and Renato Bodeman’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Andrew Bayer and Renato Bodeman.

Hi Andrew and Renato, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
We started Apothicc Studios as a place to channel our creativity and to have an outlet that wasn’t just our day to day jobs. We both work in the creative industry but we wanted to be able to go rogue at times and create what we were into!

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
This whole journey has been a learning process and we wouldn’t change it for the world! Turning our passion from a hobby to a legitimate business has been both frightening and daunting as well as so much fun! We’ve been able to meet so many other makers and people that appreciate the work that goes into everything!

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Andrew is a wardrobe and prop stylist for commercial photography and Renato is a graphic designer and art director with a background in Brand Development for various international companies while in Brazil.

We make hand-poured coconut wax candles, art prints, needle felted pins, pillows and we are starting to get into Bath Salts that you soak in (and not smoke)

We are always drawn to bright bold colors as well as patterns. We definitely embrace “Maximalism” and avoid “minimalism” as much as possible!

How do you think about happiness?
We tend to be happiest when we are in the studio with our dogs Janice and Judy!
