Today we’d like to introduce you to Bailey Maloney Rosenberg.
Hi Bailey, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I grew up in New Orleans, went to college in California and always dreamed of living in ATX. It just took me a while to get here! I have a background in international corporate events, television broadcast journalism and entrepreneurship. And, all of that blended together to create Bailey Rose Events! The company started in New Orleans, grew to Austin and now we have team members all over the country and specialize in both southern and destination weddings + events.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Like many, Covid threw Bailey Rose Events a major curveball. Events came to a screeching halt but then came back with avengence. The beauty of events and weddings, specifically during the pandemic, is that they had to scale down in guests numbers but organically grew in design! Love was never canceled! Of course, there was a lot of replanning and scheduling, but our couples and vendors were amazing to work with through the height of the pandemic.

Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
My parents are both entrepreneurs, so I think it was a predetermined path. It is as if talking about business around the dinner table subconsciously made me become one. I resisted for a while by taking a job as a news reporter right out of college and then felt like I needed “corporate America experience” before branching out and creating my own business. The Bailey Rose Events team is incredible – Shoutout to the amazing women that make this all possible!
