Today we’d like to introduce you to Tasha Green.
Hi Tasha, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
The journey to real estate began when I went through the process of owning my first home in 2016. I saw multiple opportunities that real estate could provide for myself and my family. I have been an RN for 14 years, and I knew I wanted to continue helping people but in a different aspect and real estate opened up the door for a new career opportunity. The transition in my new career allowed flexibility and spending more time with my daughter.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
When I began studying to become a real estate agent, I enjoyed learning all of what real estate encompassed. Real estate is a grind and hustle, but my skillset from my nursing profession has helped me thrive in the real estate industry.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I work in Austin and the greater Austin areas. I specialize in new home construction, real estate investing and recently became certified in commercial real estate. I am known for my integrity and creativity to help clients achieve their real estate goals. I believe that everyone involved in a real estate transaction is a team and it’s important to have open communication and think outside of the box to get the deal done.
How do you think about happiness?
My daughter, Lyric, she is the light of my life. She is my motivation and my biggest cheerleader. I work hard to give her the opportunities I did not have growing up and to be an example to show her that she can do anything she works hard and sets her mind to.
