Hi Karina, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I am the shop owner of MY SUNFLOWER DAZE! I am currently making tees in Killeen, Texas but I am originally from Los Angeles, California (Wilmington) I have been here in Texas for six years now time sure does fly! I started my company back in 2017 after I had my wild child Kaydence, she inspired me to start my own business and helps bring out my creative side. She is the most free-spirited child & just wants to have fun! She is my little crazy daisy!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
My Sunflower Daze has had its ups and downs just like any other business but I’ve always chosen to maintain a positive outlook. My brand strives to bring people positive thoughts & good vibes through its comfy apparel. Even when my business has its downs I still wouldn’t trade it for anything! I love designing quotes to inspire others to keep have a positive mindset!

The best part of the business (the fun part) is designing the tees & creating the quotes to go on the clothing! My business is known for its positive quotes & fun hippie style! I’m proud to be a Latina business owner! 💛 Hippie vibes have always been a part of my life, I’ve always tried to be positive and have a positive attitude about everything in life!
Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
Creating tees for women & kids makes me happy! I’ve gotten so many messages about my tees getting people through a hard time & helped them maintain a positive attitude. This right here has made me keep going!
