Money Man Entertainment was established in 2017 by independent artists Figuz and D-Flo, who decided to put their talents and entrepreneurial business sense together to create the MME brand. Starting out with creating and producing music for solo and group projects for themselves. MME transitioned into the production of videos, merchandise, marketing and promoting events for tours such as “Trust the Process” with Ace Hood and “Return of the Trill” with Bun B. Placing the MME brand and its artist Figuz and D-Flo center stage to a huge audience. Continuing to stay consistent with music Figuz and D-Flo have released a number of singles under the “Money Man Entertainment” name courtesy of UnitedMasters. With a number of the singles featuring artists such as Yung La, Peso Peso and Dougie D. They have managed to grab the attention of the listener by blending their unique sound with familiar faces to deliver a flawless execution. I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
It’s been a long road, at times smooth and rough. The biggest string is being taken seriously in a saturated industry full of artists trying to be seen and heard. When you’ve been doing something for as long as we have it’s a struggle to stay focused on your goal and see the bigger picture.
We’ve been impressed with Money Man Entertainment, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Money Man Entertainment “MME” is the dynamic duo of Figuz and D-Flo. Fed up with the “bs” of the industry, MME is an outlaw breaking the rules of the industry norm bringing new meaning to the term “independent artist”. In an era where independent artists have taken the “DIY” approach to things, Figuz and D-Flo decided to basically create a record label that would essentially be a home to their music. Adding to their services music and video production, promotion and marketing, artist development and artist management.
