Today we’d like to introduce you to Zachary Lynch. Them and their team share their story with us below:
Card Stock-Exchange LLC (“CSE”) was founded in 2019 with the goal of becoming a stock market for trading cards. Zachary Lynch, the founder of CSE, is a finance graduate from Texas A&M University and has a passion for collecting sports memorabilia and trading cards. He combined his two passions and created a unique online marketplace to buy and sell trading cards using stock market investment tools and principles.
In 2021, the NCAA released a ruling allowing college athletes to profit off their name, image, and likeness (“NIL”). Seeing an opportunity, CSE started a new branch of the company called “CSE Athletes.” CSE Athletes partners with professional and collegiate athletes to create unique autographed trading cards and assist them in building their memorabilia brand. Athletes now have direct control and ownership of their own memorabilia brand and fans can now buy custom memorabilia directly from the athletes on CSE’s website.
CSE’s vision is to become the one-stop platform for all things relating to trading cards and memorabilia. Not only can you buy, sell and value your own sports memorabilia collection, but now you can buy custom autographed memorabilia directly from your favorite athletes. Memorabilia and trading cards are true commodities and therefore need a platform like CSE to help them grow within the alternative asset space.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Overall, the road has been smooth. There were minor speedbumps along the way when it came to the technical development of the platform. However, now that CSE is up and running, I would say the biggest hurdle is pace of growth.
Since partnering with athletes across the country, CSE’s challenge is ensuring that custom trading cards and memorabilia are constantly being designed. As we continue to grow, CSE must keep up with consumer demand and continue to create new and exciting designs for all our athletes.

CSE plans to become THE platform for all things related to the sports memorabilia and trading card space. Our company has two branches. The first is our platform for buying, selling, and valuing your sports memorabilia and trading cards. This part of our company allows individuals to buy and sell memorabilia and trading cards while monitoring the value of their portfolios.
The second branch of our company, CSE Athletes, is a truly revolutionary concept. We want professional and collegiate athletes to have direct control over their own memorabilia and trading card brands. Through CSE, athletes can now control their brand, designs, and the supply of their items. And now that collegiate athletes can profit off their NIL, CSE is helping collegiate athletes across the country grow their memorabilia brand.
For the first time ever, CSE customers can purchase custom autographed memorabilia directly from their favorite athletes while buying and selling their own trading cards and sports memorabilia.

Even though I was born and raised in Houston, my favorite baseball player to collect autographs from is Derek Jeter! And despite going to A&M for both undergraduate and currently graduate school, my favorite football player to collect autographs from is Vince Young.
