Life & Work with Ronnie Pope

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ronnie Pope.

Ronnie, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I was born in Louisville, Kentucky. From there I traveled to the home I call now which is San Antonio, Texas at seven years old, but traveled in and out from Austin as needed. I start off my story at just 16 years old, I used to work a few part-time jobs to help raise money for my future careers. I like to make music, which lead to me buying my first studio from the money I raised and started going by the name of RLPson. Growing up I knew I was always meant for more, and with that mindset, I knew I had to grind harder than everyone else. I lived by the motto of being the best no matter what the cost was. I was always invested into music and made a lot of connections with it, that I still use as of today. I currently attend The University Of Texas At San Antonio. I started college at 18 right after high school, with hopes to gaining my bachelor of science degree in architecture. From there the grind inside me got bigger because I was now going to college and making music at the same time. That didn’t stop me, it only pushed me further. In the middle of my junior year, when I turned 21, I met Lari Nelson fashion group. I was taking all the steps in the right direction because from there begin my modeling career. I fell in love with the craft of modeling, and I always knew I had the talent to do so. At this point of my life I was grinding music, architecture, and now modeling, but even then that didn’t stop me.

Going into 2022 I said I was going to grind everything I have ever wanted to do no matter what the cost was. A month after I enrolled into acting classes, that was taught at acting studios 101. I gained a lot of love from that class and learned so much that goes into the field of it. Jazmin Blue taught me the ins and out’s of the whole career in itself, from there I started getting better. I am now in the middle of creating my own show called Under The Eclipse, hoping to release it early next year. I knew that I was now grinding 4 things at once, but was determined to add one more to the list, youtube. I started my youtube channel in May, going by the name of Late Nights Early Mornings. I have made a couple of videos and I am still grinding it as of today, with a slight count of 30 subscribers and counting. As of today I have made so many connections and started to become well known in the surrounding city. I thank everyone so much for everything they have done for me, and the knowledge that I know now. I am 21 now and have managed to grind architecture, music, acting, youtube, and modeling. I am still going and love everything I do, never give up on anything you want to achieve the moment you do you lose. That’s my story and still going.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It really has been a smooth road for me to getting to where I am at today. I thank god that it has been, I never really lost faith or motivation to what I was doing, only kept pushing forward. I guess if I had to name one, it would have to be the process I was taking into making my own show. Making your own series that will soon be on Netflix or any other streaming platform is not an easy process. From having location issues to casting could be a rough ride, but that does not stop me from achieving my dreams. I always have a plan for everything, even if things go south, that’s a big thing I love about myself. I never lose motivation and now I have a crew behind my back and hope to start filming in early August.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Top three things I do on a consistent rate would be making music, acting and being a content creator. I specialize in audio engineering and sound production as well as working with adobe softwares such as Photoshop, lightroom, primerepro, and many more. I am most known for as being an artist, and a creative work designer. Acting has worked its way into my life as a big step for me because I now have the opportunity of being a professional at it. I am most proud of myself for getting this far because it shows others that you could do anything you put your mind to. People tell me all the time that I am a big inspiration to them, and that sets me apart from others because I am looked at as a leader. I give people hope, and that has been something I want to do forever and ever as long as I exist.

We love surprises, fun facts and unexpected stories. Is there something you can share that might surprise us?
Something surprising that most people do not know about me is that, I do not like to party or go out as much anymore but instead work on any work efforts that are put in front of me. I set myself in a winning position all the time, and always come out on top. Something surprising also would be that, I know how to make anything art related and could draw really really well. Other than that my life is an open book, and love to share it.
