Today we’d like to introduce you to Bennie Cherry (Bctheicegod).
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
It started when my mother and I moved to San Marcos Texas homeless from Las Vegas in 2006, living in a shelter.
I grew up in public housing and had a desire to make it to the NBA before I started my music career in 2019 after playing college ball at Ranger Juco for former UK Head Coach Billy Gillespie.
At the start of my journey in the “real world” I worked jobs like Construction, Amazon Warehouse, Whataburger, and Chick Fil A to fund what I needed in my music career. (Studio Time, Music Videos, Marketing, Merch, etc.)
Each job I worked, I knew I wanted a way better life for myself and that lifestyle was not for me anymore so I started studying millionaires and successful people to learn how put myself in a better situation where I can own my time and be financially free doing what I knew I was called to do.
In 2020, I left my job right after I released my debut mixtape “Froze Volume 1” on all streaming sites which went on to accumulate over 3 million streams on Spotify alone with a plaque certified by the RIAA Awards and Jewel Box Platinum.
I then began learning about business credit as well as personal credit and would eventually go on to start multiple businesses going into 2021.

In February 2022 I released “High Rise” my first R&B single which peaked at #81 in the Top 100 iTunes Charts and remained on the charts for two weeks!
Now I’m working on my Debut Album and run multiple businesses that make me passive income every month.
My journey as an entrepreneur has been the best self-discovery process and has allowed me to start fulfilling my calling which is to help the world become FROZE (The Best Version of themselves.)
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Not at all! My entire life, I was doubted, overlooked, and laughed at, but I took it and applied it to self-improving to get to exactly where I want to be.

I am a very versatile musician that has the ability to heal others through the energy I record in my songs. Any genre!

What was your favorite childhood memory?
When I rocked my very first talent show at 12 years old with a 200+ crowd by performing my “5 Star Chick” remix.
