Hi Mario, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Ememagic was born many years ago. It started in Lima, Peru where I am originally from. 11 years ago, I came to the US- to Wisconsin- and although I loved magic, I wasn’t performing professionally. One day I ran into a lady that happened to be putting together a Christmas event together and asked me if I wanted to volunteer. After that, the test just came all by itself. Bookings every weekend. Lots of performances. Tons of different cities , events, parties, corporate events, and more!
I perform mostly for children, altho my magic is for the whole family. My show has different types of magic. I have musical routines, comedy, mentalism, and big illusions.
I’ve been in Austin since 2019 performing here and in all surrounding areas.
Positioned as one of the top magicians in the city, my mission is to bring my magic to the most amount of families as possible. I want to share my love for magic and some of the lessons I learned as a kid, and adult in life. There is always a message!

We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It wasn’t a smooth road at all. One of my biggest challenges was to perform in a language that wasn’t native to me. I originally speak Spanish My pattern (script), my jokes and finally, and more importantly, my culture was different. I needed to adapt. To develop “a personality” in English.
It took me a little while but now I’m fully bilingual and got to be as funny as I am in Spanish and that was very important to me
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
By career, I studied business management and marketing in Peru. I am a product marketing manager at Facebook ( meta ) here in Austin.
Magic was always my side gig. Started as a hobby but became a second profession.
I also own a 3d printing business and a creative lab where we do fast prototyping.
