Hi Briana, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Hi, I am Briana, born & raised in Austin, TX. I am 26 years old. I am a mom of 2 kids & my husband and I decided the best thing for our family was for me to be a stay-at-home mom & homeschool my kids. I was constantly taking pictures of my kids & my phone space kept running out. I asked my husband for a camera since he was the only one working. I wanted to take pictures of my kids without worrying about space. Once my husband was able to purchase me a camera & I started to use it, I realized the passion that built up to want to learn all about my camera to be able to take the best pictures of my kids. But that was not it since I saw that I was enjoying it so much, and I was learning pretty quickly about setting & what I was able to do with a camera. This was an opportunity to show more about me, something I enjoyed & was good at. Also, this was a good opportunity for me to help my husband relax and spend some time with the kids & let me help out. It’s a good feeling to be able to not only be a good mom but also be able to give your husband a break from working all the time & also to teach your kids that we can always learn new things.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has not been a smooth road, just like any other small business owner. Photography is expensive, from cameras to lenses to even editing apps. You need to invest to receive & take practice after practice to get good at it. It takes lots of patience and wanting to learn to be successful. You need to work hard to stand out & reach the people that will love & value your work.

I am a photographer who specializes in studio & outdoor photography. I am known for my custom setups for birthday parties & cake smash! Also, my cute setups for Christmas. I am very proud of how far I have gotten, how much I have learned, the people I have been able to meet & the opportunities people have given me and trusted me with their photos. What sets me apart from others is my patience for kids & the effort I put into my setup.
We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from growing up.
My favorite childhood memories would be traveling & being in nature. I loved the opportunities to be out exploring, seeing new things, smelling new smells, and & building new memories.
