From Mortgage to Mission: A Herbalife Journey of Health, Heart, and Home
Imagine a life where the days blend into nights, and the only constants are the ticking clock and the endless pile of paperwork. This was my world for 25 years in the mortgage business. Rewarding, yet undeniably toxic at times. The long hours stole precious moments with my family, leaving a void filled with ‘what ifs’ and missed milestones.
Then, a glimmer of change appeared, courtesy of my husband, Shane. His quest for health led him to Herbalife, and despite my skepticism, I watched from the sidelines. An invitation to an opportunity meeting hinted at a life beyond the corporate grind, a chance to truly make a difference. My initial reluctance gave way to curiosity when the prospect of opening a Nutrition Club with friends emerged. Love for Shane and a leap of faith nudged me toward a decision that would redefine our lives.
Embracing Herbalife wasn’t just a career shift; it was a heart and soul transformation. The Nutrition Club became our mission field, a place to sow health and happiness into our community, starting with our own family. Together, Shane and I embarked on a journey of wellness, extending our passion to friends and beyond. Our efforts flourished into two thriving Nutrition Clubs in Wylie, TX, a testament to the power of belief and dedication.
Life’s currents eventually guided us to Canyon Lake, driven by the desire to be closer to our daughter and our new granddaughter. Here, we opened our own Nutrition Club, embracing a community that welcomed us with open arms. Herbalife didn’t just offer us a business; it gave us a home, a purpose, and a family united in health and happiness.
Looking back, I marvel at how far we’ve come from those long, draining days in the mortgage business. Herbalife has been our vessel of transformation, carrying us to a life where work and passion blend seamlessly. Our journey is a testament to the power of change, the strength of love, and the beauty of embracing new beginnings. We are living proof that with Herbalife, anything is possible.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Initially, my skepticism towards Herbalife was a significant struggle. Overcoming my own doubts and the skepticism of others about the effectiveness and benefits of Herbalife products and the business opportunity was like trying to BBQ in a rainstorm – challenging but not impossible! 🌧️🍔
Transitioning from the mortgage business to running a Nutrition Club full-time required a massive shift. Finding the right balance between work and family life, especially after years of missed family events.
Establishing and growing our Nutrition Clubs in Wylie, TX, and later in Canyon Lake, TX, involved creating a welcoming and supportive community from scratch.
Embarking on a mission to get yourselves, your family, and your friends healthy was no small feat.
Moving from Wylie to Canyon Lake and opening a new Nutrition Club there presented logistical and emotional challenges.
