Today we’d like to introduce you to Christina & Kristin. They and their team shared their story with us below:
Kristin was laid off from a corporate role in December 2023 and decided it was time to start her entrepreneurship journey. She reached out to her friend, Christina, who has been an entrepreneur in the short-term rental space for years (Stay Zen Retreats) with the idea to partner on a new venture. We started planning and then put everything into motion with sales emails and networking. We still have so much to do to establish the business in the photo booth market, but we are gaining momentum with every event and every person we meet.
New Moon Photo Booth is a brand-new company, but we’ve had amazing opportunities to work with several partners so far, including Swift Fit Events during SXSW, The Big Silence Foundation, Hey ATX, and You are Magic Media.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It’s felt pretty smooth so far. We choose to focus on the positive side of the business and stay in gratitude for the opportunities that have come our way and the connections that we’ve made. It is so impactful to have business partners that raise your vibes and people you can have fun with while working. We’re putting a lot into the business, and we believe that we will benefit from it as we grow our network and offerings.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about New Moon Photo Booth?
New Moon Photo Booth is a full-length, interactive mirror photo booth. It prints 2×6 print strips and sends digital copies. What sets us apart is the ability to brand the booth. We can customize the welcome screen and print strips. These features are perfect for corporate events and brand reveals and provide lasting marketing. People take home the photo strips with your company branding on them and hang them on the fridge for years, and they positively associate the fun experience they had using the booth with your brand. We have such a fun brand that we are so proud of. Everything is moon-themed; our packages are called Crescent Moon, Full Moon, and Super Moon. One of the phrases that we like to use is “Love you to the moon and back,” and even our business cards are round like the moon.
