An Inspired Chat with Vince Williams

Vince Williams shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.

Good morning Vince, it’s such a great way to kick off the day – I think our readers will love hearing your stories, experiences and about how you think about life and work. Let’s jump right in? When was the last time you felt true joy?
oh, wow, firstly, I appreciate the question.

When I sit and reflect on my experience with “joy” I can obviously say, there are moments within the Magic that brings a smile to my face, however, joy?
I would honestly have to say, when I’m with my little one.

Having her by myside is heaven on earth.

ESPECIALLY when I do the magic events, shows, gigs and I’m able to provide for her through the magic, that is what brings me true joy.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hello Reader,

My name is Vince Williams and I am known as the Alternative Magician, due to my approach to Performing Magic, which blends the 2 worlds of Magic, and Sideshow.

I’ve been performing for well over 20 years, touring around, showcasing my show as well as performing for various touring acts as they visit San Antonio.

I own my own LLC, and sell VWMagic Branded Merchandise.

I may or may not be working on something else, that isn’t necessary, magic related.

So make sure you are following me on my Social media to keep up to date with, Shows, Events, giveaways and more!

Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. What was your earliest memory of feeling powerful?
I remember, back in the High School Days, I would often get picked on, for being different, so I used the magic as a way of making myself stand out from the rest of the crowd, and in doing so, I massed a pretty decent following locally.

About a year after that, I was able to get interviewed for “iHeartRadio” and immediately, people from my past started texting and calling me.

At that moment in time, I realized how powerful magic truly is as an art form that can bring people together.

Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
funny, I remember last year, during December 2024, I told myself, by the beginning of 2025, if things didn’t look up, I’d walk away from this goal.

But as the universe had it,
I ended getting so many booking opportunities as well as interviews, and an opportunity to expand my LIVE show.

There were numerous times, I contemplated, walking away.

I’ve seen darkness and lived through very tough times, but one thing is for sure,
Magic helped me stay alive.

Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. Is the public version of you the real you?
to a degree, I would have to say.

The “Vince Williams” you see online, is me at the core, however, it is an over-exaggerated version of myself.

The artist, I strive to be.

I’ve had people assume that, the online “Vince” was 100 percent me.

It isn’t.

It’s all part of the plan.

Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
I hope, the people who come across my magic journey, can see the dedication, the passion, the blood, sweat and tears I’ve sacrificed for this goal.

When I’m gone, I hope the supporters will come together and continue to push my content to reach more kids, more people, and hopefully that support will lenger onto my little one’s life.
