Hi Ana, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?

I’ve been bringing celebrations to life since I was 16, when I started my first party décor and event planning business back home in Venezuela. Creativity, color, and the joy of seeing people smile have always been my driving forces.
My journey with Balloon Boutique began in 2020 in New York City, right after I was laid off from my job due to COVID-19. What started as a challenging moment turned into an opportunity to follow my passion. Together with my mother, we launched a small balloon décor business, pouring our creativity and energy into bringing joy to people’s celebrations.
In 2022, we moved to Austin, Texas, for a fresh start — and that’s when my sister joined the team. Now, the three of us run Balloon Boutique as a proud family-owned business, specializing in artistic balloon designs, floral accents, and full event styling with 20 years of experience.
Every bouquet, garland, and installation is crafted with eco-friendly, USA-made balloons and a whole lot of heart. Whether it’s an intimate gathering or a milestone celebration, our mission is to transform spaces into unforgettable experiences that make people feel celebrated, loved, and inspired.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Every day brings its own challenges, but with the three of us working together, nothing feels impossible. We lean on each other’s strengths, and with the support of my family, including my husband, who handles the taxes and finances (our unpaid but very valued employee!), we truly feel like the sky is the limit.

At Balloon Boutique, we specialize in creating artistic balloon designs and full event styling that transform ordinary spaces into unforgettable celebrations. From luxury balloon garlands and show-stopping arches to elegant balloon bouquets and floral decor, our work is all about bringing joy, beauty, and personality to each event.
I’m most proud of the fact that every piece we create is custom designed for our clients, no two installations are ever the same. We use only high-quality, eco-friendly, USA-made balloons and we pour genuine heart and creativity into every detail.
What sets us apart is our family touch. Because we’re a mother-daughter business, every client becomes part of our extended family. We go the extra mile to make sure their vision not only comes to life, but exceeds expectations. For us, it’s never “just balloons”, it’s about creating moments people will remember for years.
Any big plans?
Looking ahead, our dream is to keep growing Balloon Boutique while staying true to our family roots. We’re working on expanding our services to include even more creative event styling options and collaborations with other local vendors so we can offer complete, unforgettable experiences from start to finish.
