Check Out Andie Wells’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Andie Wells.

Hi Andie, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Owning a boutique has always been a dream of mine — something I thought about, prayed over, and carried in my heart for years. In 2023, with the support of my incredible husband and family, I finally decided it was time to step out on faith and turn that dream into reality. My family has been my biggest inspiration — I wanted to create not only an additional source of income but also a legacy for my daughters. They’re watching me build something from the ground up, and through this journey, I get to show them that anything is possible when you have a firm foundation rooted in faith.

When my husband first asked what I would name the boutique, I instantly said “Whiskey and Wine Boutique”. He tells me he saw the fire in my eyes in that moment — and from there, we knew it was time to invest what little we could afford to make this vision real. Within hours, we had the name and logo. By November 2023, we officially incorporated the business and received our documents from the Secretary of State — it was the beginning of an incredible journey.

Whiskey and Wine Boutique was built on the idea that every woman — regardless of income — deserves to feel beautiful and confident. We offer a carefully curated collection that blends class, modesty, and today’s fashion trends, while keeping everything affordable. Our boutique is inclusive, with sizes ranging from small to 3XL, so that no woman has to sacrifice style due to size or budget. What makes it even more special is that this truly is a family-run business — every member of our family plays a role in helping this dream thrive.

Today, we proudly operate both online and at pop-up markets and events all over the state. This is my first business endeavor, and while the journey can be intimidating at times, my faith and family continue to fuel me every single day. I’m deeply grateful for every step of this path and excited to see where it leads as we continue growing, empowering women, and making beautiful fashion accessible to all.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The journey has been anything but smooth, but it’s been filled with purpose and grace. Starting Whiskey and Wine Boutique with very limited funds was overwhelming at times. There were many moments filled with self-doubt and quiet prayers, wondering if I had taken on too much. But every time those doubts crept in, I reminded myself why I started — to build a legacy for my family, and to show my daughters that anything is possible when your foundation is rooted in faith.

Balancing this dream while being a full-time, wife, and stay-at-home mom of four — and homeschooling — has been one of my greatest challenges. With children ranging from seven months to ten years old, there’s never really a “pause” button. I’m constantly shifting between being a business owner, wife, and being “Mom” — meal planner, teacher, nurse, counselor, referee — often all at the same time. Time is a rare and precious resource in our house, and every day requires patience, careful planning, and sometimes just pure perseverance.

The business side brings its own set of hurdles. Marketing, managing social media, and driving traffic to the website have all been difficult to navigate, especially while juggling so many responsibilities at home. But the in-person markets have been a saving grace — they allow us to connect directly with our customers, share our story, and watch women light up as they find pieces that make them feel beautiful.

One moment that truly tested our faith came just before we were invited to participate in the 2024 Rodeo. At the time, our inventory was very low, and it felt like everything was working against us. For a moment, I feared we would have to walk away from an opportunity we had prayed for. But God made a way — we were able to secure the inventory we needed, and those weeks turned into one of our most successful events yet. That experience was a beautiful reminder that even when things seem impossible, faith can carry you through.

Through every struggle, it’s been God, my husband, my children, and the encouragement of our amazing customers who continue to fuel this dream. The road hasn’t been easy — but it’s been worth every step.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
At Whiskey and Wine Boutique, we offer trendy, classy, everyday wear — truly a little something for everyone. Our goal is to provide styles that help women feel beautiful and confident, whether they’re dressing for a casual day, a special occasion, or simply want to feel good about themselves. I personally curate every piece, always asking myself not only “Would I wear this?” but also, “Would my customers — with their diverse styles, ages, and needs — feel amazing in this?” I take great care to visualize my customers in each selection, ensuring that our boutique reflects the real women who shop with us.

One thing our customers consistently rave about is our pricing — we’ve been told over and over, “Your prices are amazing! And you pick the cutest clothes!” That means so much to me because I never want a woman to feel like beautiful fashion is out of reach. We’ve been blessed to have customers ranging from pre-teen to 80+ years old find pieces they love, and that’s an incredible feeling. It reinforces our mission of affordability, inclusivity, and style without compromise.

What I’m most proud of is how much we’ve grown in such a short time — and that through it all, our mission has remained rooted in faith, family, and empowering women. Our customer loyalty means the world to me, and it’s deeply humbling to see how our little dream has resonated with so many.

But what truly sets Whiskey and Wine Boutique apart is us — our family. We’re not just running a business; we’re building relationships. Our customers often become friends. They enjoy meeting us, chatting at markets, and becoming part of our growing community. That personal connection is something we treasure. And of course, our affordable pricing helps make that experience even more special.

At our in-person markets, we offer exclusive inventory — new pieces always debut there first before going online. We also make it a priority to reward our repeat and most loyal customers with special discounts as a way of saying thank you for being part of this journey with us.

At the heart of it all, this is a family dream built on faith, and every piece we sell carries a little bit of that story.

How can people work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
There are so many ways people can support and be a part of Whiskey and Wine Boutique’s journey. First and foremost, you can shop with us directly through our online store, follow us on social media, and visit us at our in-person markets and events. Each interaction, each order, and each shared post helps fuel this dream in a very real way.

We’re always open to meaningful collaborations and partnerships — whether it’s working with influencers, joining pop-up events, or participating in vendor markets across the state. I truly believe in community over competition and the power of surrounding yourself with like-minded, inspiring people who bring fresh ideas and energy. New collaborations allow us to grow, expand our reach, and continue learning from others. I welcome any opportunity to connect with fellow entrepreneurs, creators, and small business owners who share the same passion for building something special.

Even for those who may not shop directly, every bit of support matters. Sharing our page, following us on social media, telling a friend, leaving a review, or referring us to events and opportunities — it all plays a role in helping us continue to grow and reach more amazing women.

Above all, I’m filled with so much gratitude for every person who has supported Whiskey and Wine Boutique. We’re excited for what’s ahead, open to new ideas, eager to build new relationships, and deeply grateful to continue building on the beautiful connections we’ve made so far.
