Check Out Bhargav Gopinatham’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Bhargav Gopinatham.

Thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, how did you get started?
My name is Bhargav Gopinatham. I am from Hyderabad, India. I come from the state and city exactly from where RRR has come. I come from a family that considers any addiction bad but, ironically, is addicted to movies. I am currently working as a Global Supply Chain Data Analyst, and that is only during the day. Once I finish work, I invest my time and energy in the cinema. Yes, I am an aspiring actor and writer. My childhood was spent in Hyderabad, where my schooling was completed in ‘Little Flower High School’ This was the phase where I grew up getting exposed to cinema outside of school. One movie every week was a minimum at the theatres. My world was built with cinemas which brought me to a space where I am now eager to build a world of my own in cinemas. The theme of my school was to ‘Let your light Shine,’ and we were taught about letting the light shine deep within. Movies, stories, and mythology were the power grid running the light within me. I came to the USA in the fall of 2018 as this was the last wish of my mom, and since then, I have kept aside all my madness for cinema to work on my mother’s dream to see me successful here in the US. Since I have become more than just comfortable here, I have started working on my passion during the weekends and the evenings after work.

We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Life has always been a rollercoaster ride, I should say. I lost my dad when I was 2 years old, and then my life has always been with my mother, who was a fighter, I should say. I believe whoever and whatever I am today all because of the confidence and fighting spirit my mother instilled in me. It was all about enjoying cinema and dreaming about being a good engineer who would earn more to give my mother a better life. In 2016 when my mother passed away due to health issues, I still wanted to live a life that would make my mom and dad proud of me. During this phase, I started looking for life. I did not see the need for any purpose until my mother was there, but once the void was clear, I had to look out for the actual purpose of my existence. Finding purpose led me to establish an Insta handle that I thought would entertain people; then, the purpose became bigger, where I thought I was meant to tell stories to the world through cinema. And here I am, trying hard to make every opportunity count to become a better human, writer, and famous actor.

What’s next?
To be able to dream is a blessing and to be able to work toward it is what life is all about. I never had plans for what I would be or who I would be in the next 5 or 10 years. My belief in the concept of manifestation and the idea of the butterfly effect makes me feel that I am doing the right things now to achieve the fame, respect, and love I always crave on the creative end. Plan right now – Stay devoted to work life and excel in it, and work on the creative space to become a reliable and bankable actor. I have always learnt to not give up from my mother and I’ll utilise the same learning to grow as a better artist and a better human. To actually answer what’s next in one line – I feel the art I’ve chosen is way more powerful. I’ll go wherever it takes me.
