Hi Brieana, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My journey in the beauty industry started when I was just 17 years old, attending Paul Mitchell The School in Jacksonville, Florida. After graduating from cosmetology school, I worked as an assistant manager at a hair salon for three years, gaining hands-on experience and learning the ins and outs of the industry.
When the world shut down during COVID, like many others, I had a lot of time to reflect. That’s when the idea hit me—to start my own business, specializing in lash extensions, brows, and makeup. I took a leap of faith and moved to the Austin area in the middle of the pandemic to begin my entrepreneurial journey.
Fast forward to today, I’m proud to say I’ve built a successful beauty business over the past five years—one that’s all about helping people feel confident and beautiful in their own skin.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Building my business has been both a smooth and challenging experience. While there have been moments of uncertainty, especially starting out during the pandemic, every challenge has pushed me to grow in ways I never imagined. Without those obstacles, I wouldn’t be where I am today. Each step both the easy wins and the tough lessons—has shaped me into the business owner and artist I am now. I’m grateful for the journey and excited for what’s still to come.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I specialize in enhancing natural beauty through a range of services including lash extensions, lash lifts, brow shaping, brow laminations, and makeup artistry. Whether it’s a soft everyday look or a full glam transformation, my goal is to help every client feel confident and radiant.
What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
One of the core values of my business is building genuine relationships, empowering women, and creating an experience that leaves a lasting impression. It’s not just about the beauty services, I strive to make every client feel seen, heard, and uplifted from the moment they walk in.
