Today we’d like to introduce you to Joel Silva.
Hi Joel, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My brother is the true Artist, he is the founder of this all. It goes back to spray painting on walls, and now expressing his talent trough Tattooing, he invited me over to be part of this journey of opening a Tattoo studio in Austin, I hesitated at first since I am not necessarily an artist nor was I looking to own and administrate a business due to my personal responsibilities and having a steady job in the Building Automation industry.
But having the experience running other business such as IHOP, TACO CABANA, and the Dining services for SODEXO at the Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas. I said let’s go!!
2 years later we are still in business so I am assuming we must be doing something right.
I am happy to be able to provide the space where other tattoo artists are able to called home and expressed themselves.
We are a small locally own and operated business but we will do our best to provide not just great work but also a safe and clean environment for our clients.
And remember we are just getting started.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Not having the mentorship, knowledge or financial resources to start and operate a business has been very challenging at times. Staying law compliant and financially responsibilities has defiantly been a journey.
Being able to have family time with this project and a full time job has being really hard at times since your children get older and if you are not there for them those times don’t ever comeback, so you always end up sacrificing something it’s just up to you what that is and do your best every single day!
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
We do fine line, black and grey, full color tattoos and many different styles with many different artists.
I am proud of each and every artist working with us for trusting us and giving us the opportunity to go along trough this journey.
We are currently a 5 out 5 stars and have over 100 reviews on google. Thanks to all of our clients for giving us the opportunity to serve them and for sharing their experience at our Tattoo studio with the rest of the world.
I would definitely say that I am most definitely proud of my brother for making this Tattoo studio what it is today, he is the one that had the vision, has the talent and I am just lucky to be part of this.

We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
Being able to provide good costumer service and awesome art on peoples bodies.
Being able to provide a space where artists are able to express themselves through tattoos.
Pricing:
- $35 for small flash Tattoo designs on Wednesdays
- $50 minimum any other day
- $500- $700 for half sleeves
