Check Out Katie Trent’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Katie Trent.

Hi Katie, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
A few years ago I heard someone say they were going to get permanent jewelry. I was so confused. What is it? A tattoo or piercing of some kind? But when I found out it was just taking beautiful chain jewelry and making it clasp less by welding it shut. I was so intrigued. I wanted to offer this service to my friends and community! So the research, practice, and sourcing of quality chains began. I dove headfirst into this world and taught myself how to weld, and eventually, Spark & Chain was launched! When you wear your Spark & Chain jewelry and see it daily, I hope it brings a smile to your face and that you’re reminded of how beautiful, valuable, and loved you are.

Alright, let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what challenges have you had to overcome?
It’s a fairly new product/service so I would say the biggest challenge has been the education around what permanent jewelry really is!  But once people see it and come to have their own experience with it – they are hooked!
Thanks for sharing that. Can you tell us more about your work next?
I’m proud to offer the best quality chains you can find so you don’t have to worry about tarnishing or your jewelry falling off. They are safe to wear at the pool, while traveling, working out,and everywhere in between.
What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
I love that there is something for everyone! From food to entertainment to exercise to water activities to concerts to sports to family, you always have a way to enjoy your life here!
