Check Out Natasha Pruitt’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Natasha Pruitt

Hi Natasha, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I launched Busy Bee Stationery & Co as a means to navigate through postpartum depression and anxiety. In 2020, as a new mother, I sought a creative outlet to aid me on this path. Transitioning my love for scrapbooking into digital stationery design, I aimed to inspire hope. My goal was to reach out to fellow moms experiencing similar challenges. Feeling isolated and unsure of how to address my emotions, I turned to designing greeting cards. Creating custom greeting cards became a therapeutic process for me, allowing me to express my emotions and connect with others. As I delved deeper into this venture, I realized the power of words and visuals in conveying empathy and support. Witnessing the positive impact my stationery designs had on not only myself but also on those who received them motivated me to expand my creations. With each new design, I poured my heart into capturing the essence of encouragement, understanding, and resilience. The overwhelming response from customers who shared their stories of how my cards brought them comfort during challenging times fueled my passion even more. Through Busy Bee Stationery & Co, I found a way to transform my personal struggles into avenues of comfort and solidarity for others facing similar battles. My journey of healing and empowerment through creativity has taught me the profound effect small gestures of kindness can have on mental well-being.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
For the most part, the journey has been smooth, and I truly love what I do. Running a stationery business that glorifies God, while being a mom and an elementary teacher, fills my days with purpose and joy. I’m ready to tackle any challenges that come my way because I believe in the mission of Busy Bee Stationery & Co.

The biggest challenge right now is finding the funding to help my business grow. But I trust that with faith, hard work, and a heart focused on kindness, the right opportunities will come at the perfect time.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
At Busy Bee Stationery & Co., I specialize in creating faith-based stationery designed to inspire, uplift, and spread kindness. My mission is to glorify God through every stationery I design, drawing inspiration from Proverbs 16:24: “Gracious words are like honey, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.”

What sets me apart is the heart behind my work—each design is carefully crafted to encourage others and reflect God’s love in a tangible way. I am most proud of the way my products have touched lives, whether it’s through a thoughtful gift or a sweet reminder of hope and faith. Busy Bee isn’t just about paper goods; it’s about creating meaningful connections and reminding others of the power of grace and kindness.

“Spreading kindness one note at a time.”

How do you define success?
For me, success is all about making an impact. It’s knowing that my greeting cards can bring a smile to someone’s face, spark a moment of encouragement, or serve as a gentle reminder of God’s love. I’ll never forget when I was dealing with postpartum depression and anxiety—I received words of encouragement that lifted my spirit when I needed it most. That moment showed me just how powerful kind words can be and inspired me to create something that others could turn to in their own tough seasons.
