Today we’d like to introduce you to Anna Hsu.
Hi Anna, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
“I am an absolute failure; I’ll never amount to anything.”
This was the sentence that defined much of my upbringing.
Growing up, I always felt like I was never “enough”. No matter what I did, accomplished looked like, I always felt like it wasn’t ever enough.
It didn’t matter that people saw good within me because I only saw the things within me that I thought needed to be “fixed”.
Then, my life changed when I stumbled upon the world of self-development and spiritual growth in 2017.
For the first time in my life, I learned how to make peace with the negative voice in my head and stop basing my self-worth on external circumstances.
I learned how to break through the limitations of my mind and life, turning my biggest dreams into my reality.
And most importantly, I learned to truly love myself for who I am and finally saw myself as worthy.
I will never forget when I went to a self-development workshop and saw, amongst 90+ other people in the room of 112, an elderly woman around the age of 80 raise her hand sadly when the facilitator asked everyone, “Who here doesn’t love themselves?”
Imagine—living your ENTIRE life feeling like you are unworthy.
This is why I am committed to helping people experience their inherent worth.
My mission is to help people rediscover and KNOW in the core of their soul that they are worthy—worthy of love, worthy of their own love, and worthy of the life that they desire.
And that is the story of how my transformational coaching practice, Align & Uplevel Coaching, and functional crystal energy shop, Ethereal Aesthetics Co., came to be.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
“A new level of being requires a new level of you” is one of my favorite mantras to ground myself during challenges.
Every journey of growth has challenges that the old self perceives as blocks; however, the new self sees these obstacles as the key to our next step of evolution.
During my growth journey, a huge challenge I faced was self-doubt and perfectionism.
Thoughts like:
“Am I even capable of doing this?”
“I’m not ready for this, I need to be perfect at this first.”
“I’m a fraud and everyone will find out I’m not good enough.”
When I first started this entrepreneurship journey, these thoughts would often stop me from taking the next step.
Then, I experienced two huge realizations that completely shifted my mindset:
First, my own coach shared a profound lesson with me: “Usually, the ones that doubt themselves the most are actually the most capable.”
It was then that I realized that when I was doubting myself, it was a sign that I simply deeply care about supporting people in the best way possible.
Second was a realization I experienced during meditation: “Self-doubt doesn’t change the FACT of your accomplishments.”
So often, self-doubt clouds our perception of how capable we TRULY are; and the proof of our capability lies within your past accomplishments, including the things we often take for granted.
Self-doubt is energy focused on what you can’t do versus what you’ve already done. Shift your focus, and you begin to shift your perspective of yourself.

Align & Uplevel Transformational Coaching – As a certified transformational coach, I help people heal negative self-beliefs created from childhood trauma so they can experience deep, authentic self-love and empowered self-worth. My focus is subconscious reprogramming; many of our self-sabotage behaviors and patterns stem from negative beliefs we hold about ourselves that we aren’t consciously aware of. This is why it’s hard to adopt a new habit or way of living, even when we consciously know it would be better for us. When we are able to change the underlying root cause, we are able to change our lives. I coach people in 3-month or 6-month containers, with each container designed exclusively for the individual and their personal goals and dreams. I also do speaking engagements and workshops for organizations on mental health and self-development.
Ethereal Aesthetics – I founded a small crystal business in 2018 as a small passion project. Growing up in the world of spirituality and holistic wellness, I’ve always loved helping people in improving their mind-body-soul connection. My vision for Ethereal Aesthetics is to integrate crystals into everyday living, blending the three core focuses of aesthetics x functionality x healing. The mission of Ethereal Aesthetics Co. is to help elevate the vibration of the world through mindful and heart-centered creations, one person at a time. As the business grows, these core values will always remain strong. Our noteworthy creation is our Floating Feng Shui Crystal Tree—the first ever levitating crystal bonsai in the entire world.
