Today we’d like to introduce you to Brandon Hoyt.
Brandon, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Circle H Handyman LLC started with the drive to be my own boss and create a great experience for customers. I spent many years in the construction industry punching the clock for someone else. Most of those years were spent as an electrician, then I moved on to being a superintendent for a home builder, as well as working for one of the largest mobile home manufacturers in Texas.
I come from a family of innovative, hard-working people. I wanted to incorporate the strong work ethic and values I learned from my dad while working for him growing up, along with the positive lessons I gained from other positions I’ve held over the years.
I had the opportunity to start learning at a young age in the HVAC industry from my dad, who was a small business owner, while my stay-at-home mom answered the phones. Growing up, my brother and I were taught many areas of repair. As a young boy, I remember watching my pawpaw Hoyt and my dad come up with solutions for anything, never needing to hire outside help.
I took a leap of faith and Circle H Handyman LLC was born. Today, the company continues to grow by being honest with the customers, taking pride in my work, and enjoying what I do.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The road to success is not easy by any means. I have faced many struggles and experienced countless ups and downs in my personal life. I battled addiction for many years before the idea of starting my own business ever crossed my mind. Through recovery, I was shown that there is a better way to live.
By the grace of God, and with the help of those who showed me a new way of life more than three years ago, I am free today. I share this part of my journey because I am passionate about recovery and want others to know there is hope. If you put your mind to it, the sky is truly the limit. Without my sobriety, none of this would be possible. Today, I find great purpose in giving back and providing opportunities for others who are starting a new way of living.
When I first started my business, I didn’t have much—just a lot of ambition. I knocked on doors and talked to anyone who would listen to drum up work. Before I knew it, the phone started ringing. 🙏
We’ve been impressed with Circle H Handyman LLC, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
We are a maintenance, repair, and construction company based in Georgetown, Texas, proudly serving Austin and the surrounding areas. We provide commercial and residential services, with a specialization in mobile homes.
We work closely with homeowners, realtors, and property management companies. Circle H Handyman LLC is fully insured and equipped with the proper tools to complete every job safely and correctly. We never cut corners on materials to increase profits. As a small business built on honest, old-fashioned values, we treat every job as if it were our own property.
Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
I don’t believe luck has much to do with where I am personally or where the company is today. I believe it comes down to God, doing the next right thing for the customer, and operating with integrity. Most of our business today comes from word of mouth and loyal customers, for whom I am truly grateful.
