Community Highlights: Meet Brizy Tait of Little Roseberry

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brizy Tait.

Hi Brizy, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Brizy, a momprenuer with a background in biochemistry is the founder of Little Roseberry. She has been passionate about personal care products for children since she had her own baby and saw the lack of natural and organic ingredients in personal care essentials. When her son was two, she was on the hunt for natural skin care products that were gentle and made with real fruits and veggies.

After noticing a lack of genuine clean products for kids, she made it her mission to create a line that was free of parabens, synthetic fragrances, GMO’s and other toxic ingredients. Her goal was to make sure her and other families could use them every day without worry or concern for their safety. To ensure this level of quality in all her products, she uses only organic raw materials from reputable suppliers who share her vision for clean living through safe cosmetics. Along with being safe, these awesome products are chemical-free, cruelty-free, vegan and proudly made in the USA.

After years of research, development and hard work, Little Roseberry has now become an established company with products sold all across the world! We are so proud to be able to say that our products have little environmental impact during manufacturing and when released to the environment. Owned and operated by women, our company focuses on making the best children’s products. While it hasn’t been easy, we are grateful by what our company has grown into.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Finding good quality ingredients for our personal care line products hasn’t been an easy task. There are so many bad ingredients that are used in everyday items that it is hard to find formulas that don’t’ already include ingredients that will compromise your skin’s health. It took a lot of trial and error to get the perfect formula, resource clean ingredients and tried different suppliers, but we were lucky enough to find like-minded people that care for the safety of our kids as well as the conservation of the environment.

Also, starting a business from scratch was quite the challenge. It’s been hard work, but I feel as if this is my calling. I decided to take the leap of faith and pursue my passion full-time. And so far it’s been one helluva ride! There have been so many amazing people involved that made Little Roseberry possible and have made this business a family. I’ve learned so much on this journey and I’m grateful every day that I took the risk because now I know just how rewarding entrepreneurship can be.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?

Are there any books, apps, podcasts or blogs that help you do your best?
Books like The 4-hour Work Week by Timothy Ferris was a great inspiration at the beginning of my entrepreneurial journey, as well as The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen Covey. These were great to get my mindset ready for the journey I was about to embark on.

Following strong female entrepreneurs like Mel Robbins and Marie Forleo have positively impacted my outlook on business and they’re great sources of knowledge to continue to grow as a businesswoman.
