Community Highlights: Meet Bryan Falk of Chef Bryans Kitchen

Today we’d like to introduce you to Bryan Falk.

Hi Bryan, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I’m best known now as the Chef/ realtor. I moved to Austin, Texas from New York in the end of 2011 when rents were only $593 a month for the one bedroom apartment I rented in the arboretum. My goal was to pursue a career in culinary. Graduating le cordon bleu in 2012, I began working through many fine dining establishments until I became the head chef. I live in the moment but it feels like each moment flys by faster for me than the average person, each day feels like a week, each hour feels like a minute. There is not enough time in one day for all that I want to accomplish.

I went on to open my own business chef Bryans kitchen LLC. Where I’ve done many catering and private dinners as well as sell almost everyone in Austin the most delicious New York style cheesecake. I am in the process of talking with investors and working the real estate to fund my first brick and mortar.

At the same time, I came across a real estate guru. Caleb Marlow and I was impressed. He became a friend and now my boss. I took the real estate course over the next year while running my food business. Passing both the state and national exam in one shot. I quickly began following all of the steps to find my niche. Becoming a listing specialist and building relationships that will last a lifetime.

I have a passion for helping others. I am genuine and honest. I am focused on building my wealth so that I can help those around me in need. It is important to have enough to live comfortably, but also to have an attitude of gratitude and help those in need.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Nothing in life comes easy. I have been through many setbacks in my life. I struggled with alcoholism and it wasn’t until I finally quit drinking that the doors began to open. I had a spiritual awakening and I feel I am one of the lucky ones who has been receiving messages from my guardian angels and the universe. A lot of times you want to wonder why something seems to be right in front of you and you are not ready or allowed to receive it. You are being protected from what you do not know is not good for you, and the best is around the corner. I have become selfless and realize the universe must do what is best for everyone. Work hard and persevere and you will also have your turn.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Chef Bryans kitchen LLC?
I am the chef/ owner at chef Bryans kitchen LLC. I am also a hard-working realtor for the Marlow group at compass. With my food business, I specialize in upscale food items and bringing people together through the joy of food. I love to exceed expectations and wow people with flavor combinations or even ingredients they didn’t know exist. My attention to detail in all that I do, my focus ambition and drive is what sets me apart from others. I never give up until I reach or exceed my goals and master my craft. I am always looking to do for others and satisfy my guest. So much so that sometimes I gain nothing from it other than the joy it brings to those observe and their family. That sometimes is enough. Money comes and goes. Relationships are important. I am best known now for my New York style cheesecakes of many flavors and now also my hard work in real estate. Growing up in a house where my mom made the best cheesecakes for everyone I took the recipe and made it even better! My father worked construction so I’ve been in and out of new construction homes even helping install kitchen cabinets and sweep empty construction sites throughout my life. I would want people to know and hope people can see that in my food and my work is consistency incomparable, second to know. I am only as good as my last dish or my last real estate sale.

We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up?
My favorite childhood memories are being with all of my family. Celebrating the Jewish holidays and learning about my heritage. My sisters, my parents, my cousins and grandparents. Unconditional love. These are the moments that you can’t get back.
